French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking an accomplished Social Media and Influencer Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in our downtown Raleigh office. In this role you will support a range of social media and influencer marketing assignments with responsibilities including content creation, writing, project management, community management, research, campaign tracking, reporting and analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manages social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X on behalf of agency clients
- Develops monthly content calendars with posts optimized for each platform
- Schedules content, executes paid social campaigns, engages with users, monitors channels and creates reports
- Collaborates with social, PR and creative teams to brainstorm out-of-the box social media and influencer marketing content and campaigns
- Participates in content creation shoots
- Coordinates aspects of influencer programs, such as developing influencer lists, managing outreach and communications, producing creative briefs and reviewing influencer content
- Stays up to date with social media trends and shares those out internally and with clients
- Builds and maintains relationships with social media influencers
- Assists with day-to-day client communication
- Travels to live events to provide on-site social media coverage, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Has a demonstrated passion for and understanding of social media and proactively pursues opportunities to evolve skills
- Excels at creative copywriting
- Has experience utilizing reporting tools including native platform insights and understands the importance of social media metrics
- Has experience with social media scheduling tools (preferably, Sprout)
- Has a practical understanding of all social media platforms including Meta Business Manager
- Possesses attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle projects effectively
- Can build and nurture relationships internally and with clients
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Has an eye for visual aesthetics, including formatting and layout, and produces polished client deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree in marketing, journalism or related fields
- 2-3 years in a relevant position, agency experience preferred
