Copper Cane Wines & Spirits is a recognized leader in social media marketing across the wine/hospitality space. Our content has driven 2B+ views and helped build one of the largest digital footprints in the industry. We don’t do cookie‑cutter social. We create scroll‑stopping (thumb‑stopping) content by thinking differently, taking smart risks, and moving fast.

As our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Social Media Manager to execute day‑to‑day programs that grow engagement, brand awareness, and business impact across a portfolio of brand channels. You’re fluent in multiple platforms, excited to learn new and emerging ones, and energized by AI‑assisted workflows that improve quality and speed.

Key relationships

Internal: Brand marketing, Direct-to-Consumer, operations, IT, sales, tasting room, and Joe Wagner

External: Agencies, influencers, bloggers

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

· Publishing & voice: Draft native, platform‑specific captions and CTAs; schedule content; uphold brand voice and visual standards across IG, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, X, and LinkedIn.

· Community management: Monitor comments/DMs daily; engage in social‑native language; maintain response SLAs; escalate issues appropriately.

· Content days & shoots: Plan and assist on shot lists; capture on‑site assets; organize files; coordinate post‑production hand‑offs.

· Short‑form video: Edit vertical clips—including podcast pulls—for Reels/TikTok; add motion graphics, captions, and sound for retention.

· Social graphics: Design platform‑optimized graphics (Canva/Adobe); apply clean layout, typography, accessibility best practices.

· Analytics & optimization: Read platform analytics (reach, saves, shares, watch‑time, hook rate, CTR); explain what’s happening and why; recommend tests and adjustments; share weekly/monthly highlights.

· Strategy & experimentation: Pitch ideas, build quick prototypes, run A/B tests, and iterate based on data; maintain the editorial calendar and repurpose assets efficiently.

· Proactive content capture: Independently grab content on‑site for Quilt & Co and other brand moments; source UGC, secure permissions, and credit appropriately.

· Cross‑channel coordination: Support additional brand accounts and collaborators; keep assets and timelines organized.

· Miscellaneous support: Jump in on ad‑hoc tasks (vendors, files, logistics) that keep social moving.

· Overall marketing support: Lead annual employee and distributor Immersion event and assist with occasional sales/distributor events offsite and at local facility.

Requirements

· Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, X, and LinkedIn, including posting mechanics, algorithm signals, and distribution strategies

· Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)

· Entry-level graphic design skills (Canva/Adobe) with a strong visual eye

· Ability to capture high-quality content and adapt strategy to platform trends and algorithm changes

· Skilled in writing native, platform-specific copy (voice, tone, CTAs, hashtags)

· Comfortable using platform analytics to turn insights into action

· Highly organized, reliable, and composed during content capture and posting

· Self-starter who can work independently, generate ideas, and execute

· Proactive about staying current on platform updates, trends, and experimentation

· Curious about AI with an efficiency-driven mindset

· UGC and influencer outreach experience a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
