Role Summary

Black Girl Vitamins is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand & Organic Content to lead our brand strategy and strengthen our presence across every consumer touchpoint. You will lead brand positioning, creative direction, social strategy, and parts of product launches, ensuring our storytelling is consistent and relevant. You will guide a lean creative team, oversee influencers and partnerships, and work closely with Product, Operations, Growth, CX, and Sales on aligned go-to-market execution. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong creative instincts, ability to spot trends, operational discipline, and a growth mindset in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own brand positioning and messaging across social, design, packaging, and all consumer touchpoints, ensuring everything we publish is consistent and on-brand.
  • Lead our social channels and content calendar end-to-end, guiding a small team of designers and creators to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
  • Direct product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns (holidays, Black History Month, sweepstakes), ensuring they are well-planned, on time, and aligned across teams.
  • Oversee influencer partnerships, creator content, and brand activations that support awareness, engagement, and brand goals.
  • Review brand and social performance metrics regularly and provide clear, actionable recommendations based on what’s working.
  • Monitor the category and competitive landscape and surface practical insights or ideas the team can test to improve how we show up.
  • Partner closely with Product, Ops, Growth, CX, and Sales to ensure aligned go-to-market storytelling and seamless execution across channels.
  • Maintain brand assets and build simple, scalable processes that keep marketing projects organized, efficient, and moving forward.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear, consistent brand storytelling across every channel.
  • A strong, growing social presence driven by thoughtful content and community
  • Well-coordinated product and seasonal launches that feel fresh, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Influencer and creator partnerships that authentically support brand goals.
  • A creative team that works efficiently, communicates clearly, and ships high-quality work.
  • Brand decisions informed by simple, meaningful insights, not vanity metrics.
  • Quick, scrappy experimentation paired with strong follow-through.
  • A reliable, proactive partner to Product, Ops, and Sales with GTM efforts feeling aligned and intentional.

Who You Are

  • 5–8+ years of experience in brand marketing, creative strategy, or social/content roles — ideally within CPG, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands.
  • A builder who loves early-stage environments and can turn broad ideas into clear plans.
  • Someone who balances creative instincts with data and consumer insight.
  • A strong communicator who gives clear direction, honest feedback, and keeps teams moving.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats when needed.
  • Deeply attuned to trends and how to connect authentically with our audience.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects at once without dropping details.
