The Digital Dept. is looking for a dynamic Director of Affiliate to spearhead affiliate strategy within our fast-growing Creator Services Division. In this leadership role, you will guide the vision, operations, and performance of our affiliate business across key categories including fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and emerging verticals. You’ll manage a high-performing team, cultivate top-tier relationships with affiliate platforms and brand partners, and drive meaningful revenue growth through data-informed strategies that empower our creators to thrive.
We’re seeking a strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking leader with 5+ years of experience in the affiliate ecosystem, deep expertise across platforms such as LTK, ShopMy, and Amazon Associates, and a strong track record of elevating creator-driven revenue. Key Responsibilities
The Director of Affiliate will lead and develop a high-performing team, establishing strong processes, KPIs, and best practices across the division. They will own the overarching affiliate strategy for TDD, building scalable systems for tracking, reporting, and revenue optimization while analyzing performance to drive growth and improvement.
This role provides high-level strategic guidance to creators—shaping content, platform approach, and revenue planning—while overseeing talent onboarding, communications, and performance. The Director will nurture senior-level relationships with affiliate platforms, brands, and agencies, securing opportunities and partnerships that elevate TDD’s roster.
They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing affiliate expertise to pitches, new business initiatives, forecasting, and company-wide strategy. Finally, the Director will stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and creator economy shifts, continuously identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion across the division.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or related experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and owning strategic outcomes.
- Strong understanding of affiliate platforms (LTK, ShopMy, Amazon, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, organized, data-driven, and highly skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the creator economy and social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).
Hybrid Work Location: New York or Los Angeles
Working Environment / Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods and to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including telephone use and computer-based work. Candidates must be able to read from screens and printed materials with or without vision assistance, communicate clearly in person and over the phone, and comprehend spoken communication in typical work settings. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds may be required.
