Social Media Manager

Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture is looking for a Social Media Manager! Location: Boise HQ (non-remote) Department: Marketing Position: Salary / Exempt Pay Range: $60K - $65K The Social Media Manager will execute the full content lifecycle from concept and capture through post-production, publishing, and performance analysis, while managing community interactions and collaborating with marketing teams that reinforces and elevates the Scandinavian Designs – Dania Furniture brand. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, analytics, and strategic vision. This is a non-remote position located in our Boise, ID headquarters. What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee all social media operations, including account management and full content calendar ownership, strategy development, planning, scheduling, publishing, audience engagement, and performance analysis.
• Lead the creation and execution of strategic social media initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and align with business objectives, while ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
• Plan, produce, and manage social content including behind-the-scenes and lifestyle assets, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director, contributing creative ideas and guiding brainstorming sessions to shape impactful campaigns.
• Operate professional-grade cameras, lighting, and production equipment to capture high-quality lifestyle, product, and studio photography/videography.
• Maintain organized media libraries, implementing consistent file management practices for efficient access and workflow.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging formats, and editing techniques to keep content fresh, relevant, and competitive.
• Coordinate and manage outside contributors and influencers to ensure clarity, alignment, and strong execution.
• Maintain a consistent on-brand social media aesthetic and voice across platforms.
• Take ownership of special projects and additional duties as assigned, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Experience managing budgets and optimizing paid social media ads.
• Understanding of SEO principles and keyword strategy for digital content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in major social media platforms and their features, with expertise in best practices and analytics tools, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Hootsuite.
• Resourceful and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
• Experience with Google Analytics and email marketing is a plus.
• Ability to review & interpret marketing data.
• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, moderate reaching and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work and travel to other locations.
• Our positions require successfully completing the pre-employment background check and signing a nondisclosure agreement.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field.
