Midwest Products, Inc., a family-owned manufacturing company, is looking for a Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to play an integral role in the company’s marketing operations. We offer several highly specialized, patented products to both domestic and international customers and are the world leader in the design, manufacturing, and sales of custom products for the embroidery industry. The Social Media & Content Marketing Manager will create and execute our social media and digital communications strategy. This role is responsible for strengthening our brand, growing engagement, and driving measurable results across social, digital, and content platforms.

This is an in-office, hands-on role for a creative and analytical marketer who thrives on storytelling, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with leadership. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Executive Vice President to ensure all marketing content and strategies align with the company’s vision and business goals.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with the opportunity for occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a social media and digital communications strategy that strengthens brand awareness and builds engagement with key audiences
  • Write, design, and publish compelling written and video content for social media channels, company website, and email marketing
  • Design graphics and create short- and long-form video content for social platforms
  • Must be comfortable serving as on-camera representative for social media and live content
  • Monitor industry and social media trends to keep content fresh, relevant, and optimize advertising results
  • Identify, onboard, and manage influencers and affiliates; oversee ongoing relationships and performance
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team, Marketing and Digital Content Associate, and Executive Vice President to brainstorm and develop content ideas and strategies aligned with company vision
  • Proactively manage daily social media presence, including monitoring conversations and responding to comments and messages
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media and digital campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • Occasionally update website content, including writing blog posts and uploading new video and product content
  • Use SEO-driven content planning for optimal marketing performance
  • Oversee and lead our Marketing and Digital Content Associate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role with a strong focus on social media content creation and digital marketing for social platforms
  • Experience developing and executing organic and paid social media strategies
  • Expert knowledge of major social media platforms and content management tools
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and creating actionable reports
  • High attention to detail with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, social media reporting tools, and web content management systems
  • Enhanced knowledge of SEO and PPC strategies required; hands-on experience a plus
  • Fluent in Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and YouTube Ads
  • Working knowledge of AI and how it can be used effectively in marketing
  • Experience in machine embroidery, sewing, or the garment industry not required but an asset
