Job Title: Sales & Community Engagement Manager
Type of Position: Part-Time Role with Hourly Pay and Commission Incentives
We are seeking a highly motivated, people-focused Sales & Community Engagement Manager to own lead conversion, outbound sales, and local community outreach, including pop-ups and activations at various venues. This role is directly responsible for driving memberships and package sales, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up within Mindbody, and actively building relationships throughout the local community to increase brand awareness and revenue.
This is a hands-on, results-driven role ideal for someone who is energized by sales goals, comfortable initiating conversations, and excited to represent the brand both in-studio and out in the community. The right candidate understands that consistent follow-up, personal connection, and community presence are key drivers of growth and takes full ownership of outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Mindbody CRM & Marketing Suite
- Manage all lead activity, tasks, and follow-ups within Mindbody, ensuring timely and consistent outreach.
- Maintain zero overdue tasks and ensure all leads are actively worked through defined follow-up sequences.
- Plan, execute, and optimize email and text message campaigns using Mindbody’s marketing suite to drive:
- New lead conversion
- Membership and package sales
- Re-engagement of inactive or lapsed members
- Promotion of offers, events, and community pop-ups
- Segment audiences effectively within Mindbody to deliver targeted, relevant messaging.
- Maintain accurate and detailed notes, tags, and lead statuses to support sales accountability and reporting.
- Pull, analyze, and report on weekly sales, lead activity, conversion metrics, and campaign performance.
- Continuously test and refine messaging and cadence to improve open rates, response rates, and conversions.
Community Engagement & Local Marketing
- Build partnerships with local businesses, fitness studios, wellness providers, and community organizations.
- Coordinate grassroots efforts including referrals, events, pop-ups, and collaborations.
- Represent the studio at local events and networking opportunities.
- Support influencer and ambassador relationships in coordination with leadership.
- Help drive awareness through in-studio promotions and community presence.
Reporting & Accountability
- Provide weekly reporting on:
- Leads received and worked
- Memberships sold
- Packages sold
- Conversion rates
- Community and referral activity
- Share insights on what is working and where improvements are needed.
- Participate in regular check-ins to review performance and goals.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer success, or business development (wellness, fitness, hospitality preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with outbound calling, texting, and email follow-up.
- Experience using CRM systems (Mindbody experience strongly preferred).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with studio leadership.

Compensation
- Base hourly or salary (depending on experience)
