Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Social & Brand Publicist to elevate our brand presence across media platforms and public channels. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive publicity strategies that align with brand goals and target audiences.
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and pitch letters to secure media coverage.
- Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets to enhance media exposure.
- Manage social media channels by creating engaging content, monitoring conversations, and responding to public inquiries.
- Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform publicity campaigns.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the brand during interviews, public appearances, and speaking engagements.
- Proofread all communication materials ensuring adherence to AP style guidelines and high editorial standards.
- Coordinate media events, press conferences, and interviews that generate buzz and visibility for the brand.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in public relations, journalism, or media relations with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messages tailored for diverse audiences.
- Strong communication skills including public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms to effectively engage online communities.
- Knowledge of AP style for consistent and professional writing standards.
- Ability to conduct thorough research to support strategic decision-making.
- Experience in editing press materials and proofreading content for accuracy and clarity.
