Social Media Assistant

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to support our growing marketing team and help bring the Ettika brand to life across social channels.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a strong visual eye, and understands how fashion brands show up online. You’ll support day-to-day social execution, content creation, and community engagement while helping elevate Ettika’s digital presence.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook
• Design and edit social assets (graphics, short-form videos, stories, reels) using Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Support daily posting, caption writing, hashtag strategy, and content formatting
• Monitor engagement, comments, DMs, and assist with community management
• Track performance metrics and help pull insights from social and web analytics
• Support product launches, promotions, and e-commerce campaigns through social
• Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints
• Stay on top of social trends, viral formats, and platform updates—especially in fashion & beauty
• Assist with influencer/UGC reposting and content organization
• Proofread all content for accuracy, tone, and brand alignment before publishing

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (fashion/lifestyle a plus)
• Strong eye for aesthetics, branding, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic video editing
• Comfortable working with social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar)
• Understanding of social media best practices, trends, and engagement strategies
• Basic knowledge of analytics, performance tracking, and optimization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn
• Bonus: basic photography, TikTok editing, or prior fashion brand experience

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
