Role Summary

Our Head of Marketing will lead the development and execution of Caliber Car Wash’s brand and marketing strategy to drive customer loyalty, traffic, and revenue growth. This leader will bring a strong track record of strategic marketing planning and execution, with expertise across digital, web, CRM, and consumer insights. The ideal candidate is highly consumer-centric, data-driven, and skilled at translating insights into action.

This role will shape Caliber’s strategic direction by creating a seamless, differentiated customer journey and positioning the brand as a best-in-class retailer. This role will oversee all marketing functions, including brand, digital and social, promotions, partnerships, and customer engagement, with a focus on new customer acquisition, membership value, retention, and profitable growth.

Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of the leadership team, this position will lead an internal team, manage external agencies, and partner with a marketing leadership resource from our private equity firm, Percheron Capital. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader—innovative, analytical, fast-paced, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as brand steward, ensuring Caliber Car Wash brand alignment with vision, values, and business objectives across internal teams and customer touchpoints.

  • Partner cross-functionally to advance company strategy, drive internal culture and engagement through marketing-led programs, communications, and initiatives.

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive sales, membership growth, and key performance metrics.

  • Lead marketing analytics, customer insights, and ROI tracking across all channels to optimize revenue and engagement, while overseeing pricing and promotions at both market and site levels.

  • Own digital and CRM strategy, including website, SEO/SEM, social media, reputation management, database integrity, segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns.

  • Lead e-commerce, loyalty, and retention initiatives to increase traffic, adoption, and lifetime value.

  • Direct strategic partnerships and market research to maintain competitive advantage.

  • Oversee customer support operations, including response standards, retention (“save”) efforts, refunds, and chargebacks.

  • Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing marketing organization and external agency partners.

  • Build and manage the marketing budget, ensuring disciplined spend, and measurable return. Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing or related field preferred), MBA strongly preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership of integrated, digital-first marketing strategies across e-commerce, social media, search, digital advertising, CRM, and web analytics

  • Demonstrated success leading teams and delivering measurable business and revenue results in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong expertise in SEO, web analytics, paid digital media (e.g., Google Ads), and marketing performance measurement

  • Proven B2C marketing experience, including customer segmentation, lifecycle communications, and influencer marketing

  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a passion for building a best-in-class consumer brand

  • Subscription or membership-based business experience preferred

  • Highly collaborative leader with sound judgment, managerial courage, and strong cross-functional partnership skills

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from strategy through execution

  • Commitment to mentoring, developing, and retaining high-performing talent

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools

  • Multi-unit retail or consumer service industry experience required; car wash industry experience not required
