FleishmanHillard, a global communications agency, has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor in our Kansas City office. We’re seeking energetic professionals with good instincts, who are early adopters and self-starters, and have an adventurous spirit and passion for collaboration. This position provides a fantastic opportunity for a passionate proactive communications professional with strong communications to be a part of a collaborative team to work on exciting communications programs across leading, large clients. As a key player on our team, you will have the opportunity to be in a client-facing role where you’ll support with earned media programs and influencer campaigns. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you'll drive earned media strategy and influencer relations while ensuring seamless project coordination across multiple client accounts. Leverage your knack for client relationship-building and meticulous organization in this highly visible role. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in executing best-in-class work and have both earned media and consumer influencer program management experience. Responsibilities • Lead execution and support earned media programs, organizing teams to complete media list development, creative pitch ideation, media outreach, interview staffing and relationship building. • Partner with media organizations to develop customized content. • Serve as go-to for key clients across multiple accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships. • Anticipate client and account leadership needs and demands, staying one step ahead to address challenges before they arise. • Develop and edit written materials, including media pitches, press releases, client correspondence, and results reports that demonstrate the impact and value of earned media relations and influencer marketing. • Manage junior staff support and partner closely with senior account leadership on strategy development for earned media and influencer programs. • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget. • Anticipate client and account leadership needs and demands, always staying one step ahead to address challenges before they arise. Your proactive approach builds trust and strengthens client and internal relationships. • Operate with a keen eye for detail. You excel in maintaining organizational efficiencies that keep projects on track and deliverables on time. Your meticulous approach ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Requirements • 3-5 years of experience in public relations, communications or related field; PR agency experience will be advantageous. • Project management and program leadership prowess, comfortable overseeing junior colleagues and managing up with senior leadership. • Flexibility with industry sectors, including B2B and B2C clients. • Genuine curiosity and interest in using influence to move audiences from awareness to engagement to action across a mix of communications platforms. • Understand role of owned, earned and paid media in an integrated communications or marketing plan and how influential voices best fit into it. • Experience working in cross-channel teams including paid media, influencer, social and digital. • Proven earned media track record and a growing book of media relations contacts, including examples of how you have achieved cut-through in media. • Demonstrated success in influencer relations program management supporting strategic planning, identifying data-led insights, research, identification, vetting, relationship management, measurement and analysis. Use of various influencer vetting and reporting tools required. • Must be a consummate team player who brings a passionate, positive, high-energy approach to client service and delivering results. • Possess excellent relationship skills; incredibly strong attention to detail; be a good listener; and respect the expertise of others. • Candidate must have a spirit of continuous learning and curiosity. • Comfortable with ambiguity (fast-moving clients in a fast-moving market requires quick thinking and resourcefulness). • Ability to switch gears quickly (keep work streams full of unforgettable story lines), with multiple projects going at one time. • Balanced, organized and accountable workstyle allowing for equal success whether stepping up and driving work independently or collaborating within the team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
