NextGen Home Shows is seeking an experienced Marketing & Social Media Specialist to lead our strategic marketing efforts and drive attendance at our events. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent, on-brand marketing across all channels while supporting both organic and paid growth efforts. This role blends creative execution with performance marketing and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and adaptability.
Core Responsibilities
Content, Brand & Creative Management
- Manage and coordinate creative output across digital, print, events, and sales materials
- Maintain websites, landing pages, and digital content updates
- Ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and quality control across all materials
- Maintain an organized digital asset library
Social Media & Content Creation
- Manage corporate social media channels, including planning, scheduling, and engagement
- Build and manage content calendars
- Write strong, on-brand copy for posts, campaigns, captions, and promotions
- Create and edit short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, YouTube Shorts)
- Design simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
- Attend live shows and events for social media coverage
Paid Media, SEO & Performance Marketing
- Assist in planning, launching, and managing paid ad campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms
- Optimize ads, targeting, creative, and budgets to drive traffic, leads, and event registrations
- Support SEO initiatives including keyword research, on-page optimization, and landing page updates
- Monitor performance metrics (CTR, CPC, conversions, ROAS) and recommend improvements
- Ensure proper tracking, tagging, and campaign organization
Sales & Growth Support
- Support sales teams with quick-turn marketing assets (one-pagers, flyers, QR codes, presentations)
- Assist with influencer identification, coordination, and content approvals
- Adjust strategies based on analytics, performance insights, and platform best practices
Key Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or digital marketing
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the events or home services industry
- A track record of successfully driving large-scale event attendance through data-driven campaigns
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and SEO fundamentals
- Strong organizational and project management skills (Monday.com or similar tools preferred)
- Strong copywriting skills and high attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Must be based in Palm Beach County
- Ability to travel to shows on certain weekends with additional pay
