Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Director/Sr. Manager • Creative sales system solutions Create and execute strategic plans to optimize the current sales process, including integrations of more automated software, new product ideas, leveraging various sales channels to generate revenue for the company via calls, emails, etc. Focus is to reduce stress and tedious activities for Success Advisors to have a more robust streamlined sales process to increase productivity. • Create, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with Students: Closing deals is heavily reliant on relationships, so we ensure from the customer experience side from start to end is an opportunity to not only generate a sale, but also make Students happy and create results with our products and services in terms of its fulfillment. No Student should ever feel left out or ghosted after a sale is completed. We focus on sales retention more than simply generating a sale and Student wants a refund. • Manage success advisors: Ensure the well being of each remote Success Advisor so they are able to perform their duties at a high level consistently everyday. Support and answers specific questions they would have and create a high morale environment to keep motivations high and goals aligned. Being available when they need you is important, so they have someone to have their back when it’s needed. They are our biggest assets and contribute a large percentage of the company’s bottom line. • Build and maintain a relationship with a team of Success Advisors: Get to know each Success Advisor on a more personal level to find out motivation and drive to be able to help them in slumps. Create and build trust in each of them so they are able to hit the results they set out to achieve. Make it known that I am here for their success and I want to see them win and become better each day. • Coaching on sales strategy and personal development: Weekly sales meetings covering important highlights throughout the week such as weekly wins, update in sales process, coaching, etc. Being available to roleplay and coach Success Advisors when needed to sharpen their skill to become a more productive asset to the company’s goals. • Be a product knowledge expert and ensure the team does the same: Becoming a product knowledge expert is a must to be able to eloquently pitch our services and products to prospects on the phone to ensure the prospect’s needs are able to be met with the right product or service. At times, this may be the difference between a close and not closed with a prospect on the fence if the Success Advisor is not fully knowledgeable on all the products and services presented to the prospect. • Important Resposibilites • Sales Operations Leadership: • Lead and manage the sales operations team, ensuring effective processes, tools, and systems are in place to maximize productivity. • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency, effectiveness, and sales conversion rates. • Sales Process Optimization: • Design, refine, and standardize sales processes to ensure seamless lead management, opportunity tracking, and customer relationship management. • Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and implement solutions that streamline workflows and enhance team productivity. • Sales Training & Development: • Work closely with the sales leadership team to identify training needs and design programs that enhance selling skills and product knowledge. • Develop onboarding programs for new hires and continual training initiatives for the team. • Sales Analytics & Metrics Reporting: • Monitor, analyze, and report key sales metrics, providing actionable insights to the sales leadership team for strategic decision-making. • Create and manage dashboards that track performance, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement. • Revenue Growth & Strategy: • Collaborate with sales leaders to identify new revenue opportunities and optimize existing streams, ensuring that all strategies align with company goals. • Lead projects that drive process improvements, scalability, and revenue growth. • Systems & Technology Management: • Oversee the implementation and management of sales tools and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. • Evaluate new tools that could enhance productivity and provide recommendations for adoption. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment of goals, data accuracy, and consistency in messaging. • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and efficient teamwork across departments. • Extreme Accountability & Execution: • Set clear goals and KPIs, holding the team accountable for achieving targets while providing support and development opportunities. • Maintain a high standard of execution and accountability to drive consistent performance and results.
Performance Standards • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets as set by management. • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high satisfaction rates as measured by customer feedback and follow-up surveys. • Policy Adherence: Compliance with all academy policies and ethical guidelines in every interaction.
