Position Purpose: The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing the hotel’s integrated marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Revenue Management, and Corporate Marketing to strengthen brand positioning, elevate the guest experience, and drive demand across all channels.

With a strong background in luxury hospitality, the Marketing Manager will oversee digital marketing, public relations, content development, and online reputation management while mentoring on-property marketing talent. This role plays a critical part in driving guest engagement, increasing direct bookings, and fostering long-term brand loyalty through refined, data-driven marketing initiatives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, results-driven marketing strategy in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing, aligned with hotel revenue goals and luxury guest segments.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hotel leadership on brand, positioning, and market opportunities.
  • Brand Management
  • Act as brand steward for the property, ensuring consistent, elevated brand expression across all guest touchpoints and marketing channels.
  • Ensure strict adherence to corporate brand standards, including collateral, imagery, logo usage, typography, color palettes, and tone of voice.
  • Digital Marketing & Performance
  • Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO/SEM strategy, content marketing, CRM/email campaigns, and paid media, in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
  • Optimize digital performance to drive direct bookings, improve conversion, and enhance online visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, campaign performance, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Social Media & Content Strategy
  • Drive the social media strategy and content calendar to support brand storytelling, awareness, and revenue objectives in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including copy, photography, video, reels, and user-generated content.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and UGC collaborations across the hotel, food & beverage outlets, and spa.
  • Public Relations & Reputation Management
  • Lead public relations initiatives in collaboration with the Corporate Team, including media relations, press stays, influencer visits, and content placements.
  • Field and coordinate requests for journalist stays, photo shoots, and video productions.
  • Manage online reputation platforms such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, OpenTable, and Google, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Manage and mentor the Marketing Coordinator, providing strategic guidance, training, and performance support.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure cohesive campaign execution and operational alignment.
  • Budget & Resource Management
  • Manage the marketing budget in partnership with the Director of Sales & Marketing, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and strong ROI.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, purchasing of branded merchandise, and coordination with Accounting and Corporate Purchasing.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.* Write website copy and update content as necessary.

  • Manage social media accounts according to the Social Media Plan.
  • Develop high quality content for the social media channels.
  • Manage UGC Influencer collaboration with the hotel, F&B outlets and Spa.
  • Monitor social media conversations and respond when appropriate.
  • Execute all in-house photo and video shoots.
  • Manage & maintain the hotel’s photography database.
  • Field requests for journalist stays, photo shoots and video shoots.
  • Manage current room packages/promotions chart for internal use.
  • Manage the Promotional Google Calendar and execute bi-weekly PR meetings.
  • Ensure all the promotions are up to date in collaboration with DORM.
  • Assist with all advertising requests and facilitate payment with the accounting team.
  • Develop copy and layout for e-blasts to hotel databases in collaboration with the Corporate team.
  • Draft copy for marketing materials such as brochures & execute the outcome.
  • Manage SEO and SEM planning in collaboration with the Corporate team.
  • Type correspondence, memos, proposals, contracts and reports.
  • Promote & advertise hotel throughout local media channels
  • Proofread and correct documents, correspondence, memos, proposals, contracts and reports.
  • Attend designated meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of specified hotel information, correspondence, reports and files.
  • Ensure all the departments are following the brand guidelines in terms of collateral, imagery, logo use, fonts, colors, designs, etc.
  • Manage all the food & beverage menu updates for Terrace 16 & Rebar.
  • Manage Crave QR code menus in the Crave database.
  • Design collateral, brochures, posters, banners for the seasonal promotions and distribute accordingly within the hotel outlets.
  • Manage purchasing of any branded merchandise in collaboration with the Corporate purchasing team.
  • Assist with the execution of major events: Rive North Pole, NYE, and St. Patrick’s Day.
  • Execute the fundraising events with St Jude. Manage the internal operations team.
  • Contribute relevant marketing details for inclusion in the Business Plan.
  • Undertakes other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS* Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and KPI tracking.

  • Always maintain a professional image in appearance/attire and conduct when dealing with vendors and resort employees.
  • Basic mathematical skills to complete reports and working knowledge of financial statements and forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms, Canva, Adobe, AI Platforms.
  • Proven success managing multi-channel marketing strategies in hospitality.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

OTHER: Due to the industry that we are in, a need will occur for each associate to provide “Lateral Service”. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Directly reporting to this position (titles): Director of Sales & Marketing. EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. EXPERIENCE 3-5+ years of marketing experience, with prior experience in a luxury or upscale hotel preferred. Must have a strong knowledge of digital marketing space for hospitality.
