Position Overview

We’re seeking a passionate, energetic, motivated, and supportive part-time Brand Manager to lead and grow all facets of our small but growing disability owned jewelry and fashion business targeted to Gen Z. Hours and schedule can be flexible. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their leadership skills and gain hands-on experience. It blends business development, marketing, fashion/jewelry management, social media, and customer service with personal support for our founder, who has an intellectual disability. You’ll work closely with the founder to shape strategy, build partnerships, and represent the company at events and in the community. This role is part personal support, part creative partner-helping her shine in daily life and online as a social media influencer.

We will provide training and guidance and are looking for someone who is a self-starter, brings ideas to the table, and is excited to help drive real growth and success.

Business Leadership & Growth Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the founder to lead and manage marketing efforts, including organic and paid social media campaigns
  • Work side-by-side with the founder to create engaging content, including video editing for platforms like Instagram and TikTok
  • Oversee website updates and design (Squarespace)
  • Research trends and purchase new jewelry products including custom designs and expand into fashion
  • Coordinate collaborations with influencers or other brands and public relations opportunities with the founder
  • Strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives
  • Track performance metrics and contribute to business decision-making

Personal Support & Companionship Responsibilities

  • Attend markets, fairs, and pop-up events to assist the founder
  • Help with booth setup, breakdown, and inventory management
  • Support communication with customers and vendors
  • Provide respectful, patient, and encouraging assistance in public settings
  • Help with transportation and navigating busy environments
  • Assist with scheduling, organizing materials, and staying on track
  • Be a reliable companion and teammate. Bring positivity, friendship, and support to every part of the journey

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in public settings and assisting with communication needs
  • Patient, respectful, and supportive demeanor
  • Ability to lift and carry event materials (up to 25 lbs)
  • Basic tech skills (email, spreadsheets)
  • Substantial social media expertise, including video editing
  • Willing and able to travel
