Design Manager

Our Oil & Gas Technology platform company is seeking a Design Manager to lead brand, marketing, UI/UX, and internal culture initiatives. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on design oversight, partnering closely with executive leadership to elevate both external brand presence and internal employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Marketing

• Partner with executive leadership to define and execute marketing strategy
• Lead digital marketing efforts including website, SEO, paid media, and social channels
• Oversee influencer programs, webinars, video content, and client communications
• Manage industry events, trade shows, and virtual experiences
• Drive thought leadership through media placements, awards, and publications

UI/UX & Product Design

• Define and execute a cohesive UI/UX strategy across digital products and platforms
• Own front-end customer experiences, including web and software interfaces
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-quality designs
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that scale

Culture & Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary design team
• Promote strong cross-functional collaboration and consistent design standards
• Manage internal communications and culture initiatives
• Partner with HR on performance management, growth, and recognition

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, including research, prototyping, and usability testing
• Experience with modern web and software technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, React, C#, Java)
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, InVision, Adobe tools)
• Strong visual design, interaction design, and strategic thinking skills
