The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, activating, and optimizing paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of agency experience, a passion for performance marketing, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Core Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Activation
- Develop paid social strategies that align with client goals and integrated media plans.
- Set up and activate campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
- Set up optimization strategies to maximize performance through creative testing, audience segmentation, and bid strategy refinement.
- Manage campaign budgets to adhere to weekly or monthly pacing goals, forecast spend outcomes, deliver accurately against planned spend.
- Manage influencer programs, overseeing deliverables and budgets.
- Monitor and manage campaign-related comments and messages, ensuring timely and thoughtful responses.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze paid social performance to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Create and maintain dashboards in Google Looker Studio, ensuring data is presented clearly and actionably.
- Provide clients with regular reporting and recommendations backed by data.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with media planning, creative, and account teams to ensure paid social campaigns complement broader strategies.
- Engage with platform reps to take advantage of new tools, features, and betas.
Innovation & Growth
- Stay current on social media trends, algorithms, and emerging advertising opportunities.
- Propose and test new approaches to drive efficiency and performance
Key Competencies
- Proficiency in paid social platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pinterest Ads, and others.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets, billing, and authorizations effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying, with a focus on social.
