Reports To: Senior Director of Marketing, Face & Skin Care Brands

Location: Northern NJ (Hybrid)

Brands: Caress, Ponds, St Ives, Noxzema

Caress, Ponds, St Ives and Noxzema are all brands that have come out of the Unilever portfolio as part of the Elida Beauty business unit which was acquired in 2024 by private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners. Pond’s and Noxzema have enjoyed continued growth in the marketplace. Caress and St Ives both continue to benefit from strong awareness but are in need of driving relevancy and engagement in the market place.

Yellow Wood Partners is a Boston-based private investment firm that invests exclusively in the consumer industry. The firm seeks to acquire branded consumer products that sell into a variety of consumer channels, including mass, drug, food, specialty, value, club and e-commerce. Overview

The Social Media & Influencer Manager will report into the Senior Director of Marketing for Face & Skincare, and oversee all existing and new organic social media channels for Caress, Pond’s, St Ives and Noxzema, while managing agency partnerships and contractors to increase social presence for the brands. Additionally, this person will partner with the Brand Managers on the strategy and execution of influencer programs that drive retail velocities and .com sales. They will lead planning and execution of content creation that is consistent with the brands’ missions and visions. Furthermore, this person will use data-backed insights and industry knowledge to shape plans and continually evolve them. This role is a core part of the Marketing team and is responsible for connecting with consumers on a relatable level, helping to create community & brand awareness that drives engagement and business results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

· Partner with Senior Director and CMO to define social & influencer strategy and playbook by brand (Caress, Pond’s, St. Ives, Noxzema)

· Align closely with Senior Director and Brand Managers to translate campaign priorities into channel-specific plans across social and influencer, including recommended KPIs and measurement plan

· Define channel roles (e.g., IG vs. TikTok vs. YouTube Shorts) and content pillars by brand

· Partner with Brand Managers to develop influencer campaigns to support business goals across brands, including clear execution plan and delivery

· Develop and manage social media strategy and content calendars for Caress, Ponds, St Ives, and Noxzema in partnership with the Brand Marketing Managers.

Content & Execution

· Oversee content creation including influencer— from briefs to final posts — leveraging Canva, CapCut, internal assets, and UGC

· Collaborate with marketing coordinator to support influencer gifting, outreach, and relationship building

· Ensure brand tone, visual identity, and compliance across all posts and influencer content

Community & Culture

· Own Community Management with contractor to engage with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and surface consumer insights

· Spot and respond to cultural trends with agility, especially on TikTok and Instagram

Performance & Reporting

· Track and report KPIs weekly/monthly: engagement, reach, influencer impact, and brand lift

· Use data to continuously test, learn, and improve performance

· Closely monitor competitive social media channels, research industry trends and provide ways to improve/optimize the brands’ channels to remain competitive in the beauty and personal care space

Leadership & Collaboration

· Serve as a center of excellence for social across the marketing team

· Manage cross-functional communication with Brand, Creative, Legal, and Data teams

Qualifications

· 4+ years managing social media and/or influencer marketing in beauty, CPG, or lifestyle brands. Ideally experience with brands that have scaled growth.

· Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms

· Proven experience conceptualizing, building, and executing impactful influencer campaigns, including managing influencer relationships

· Analytical mindset with comfort using insights to drive decisions

· Strong visual and written storytelling skills

· Experience with copywriting on social media

· Tools: Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Later/Hootsuite, basic Excel/PowerPoint

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 per year. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
