Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role focuses on driving corporate gifting sales growth in new and existing corporate accounts, marketing firms, and gift basket producers. The Sales Manager will manage the business development sales process, complemented by local, regional and national travel for sales calls, trade shows and events as well as sales meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to build relationships, develop accounts, and close sales via phone, email, video calls, virtual and in-person presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow corporate gifting sales in new and existing corporate accounts, marketing firms, and gift basket producers.
- Proactively engage prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person and virtual meetings.
- Cold call potential customers and generate new leads and prospects.
- Conduct research to identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Develop tailored proposals and product recommendations for customers.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within corporate accounts.
- Actively sell to existing and new customers, increasing account base, total sales volume, customer usage of Torn Ranch products, and expanding customer touch points within each account.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., customer service, design, and product development) to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM tools.
- Attend trade shows and events, corporate and account sales calls, and sales meetings as needed.
Qualifications/Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales success and strong revenue growth, ideally in corporate sales, incentive or group travel sales, event sales, promotional marketing sales, artisan food sales, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and nurture existing relationships.
- Strong written, verbal communication and technical skills, with an ability to craft impactful proposals and presentations with targeted, relevant content and graphics.
- Very comfortable making outbound calls and engaging via phone, email, in-person and video calls to drive business.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools.
- Exceptional results orientation – with a high degree of personal initiative, sense of urgency and leadership as well as the highest level of integrity.
- Passion for luxury brands and design as well as an appreciation for premium food products.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
