Social Media & Content Creator Intern

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, and newsletter creation. The Social Media Intern will assist in developing and implementing our social media strategies, enhancing our online presence, and engaging with our audience across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve content visibility.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities through social listening.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop graphic designs using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
• Analyze social media performance using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
• Participate in content creation for e-commerce initiatives, including photography and video editing.
• Developing and distributing monthly/quarterly newsletters,
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and best practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other tools.
• Experience with digital marketing concepts such as branding, e-commerce, and public relations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship management.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• A keen eye for detail with strong proofreading skills.
• Previous experience or coursework in graphic design or video editing is advantageous.
