Overview

We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to help keep our marketing efforts running smoothly day to day. This role focuses on coordination, execution, and follow-through, making sure marketing projects, content, campaigns, and events stay on track and nothing falls through the cracks.

This is not a purely strategic or creative role. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, timelines, and communication across teams while gaining hands-on exposure to real marketing initiatives in an automotive e-commerce environment.

You’ll work closely with our marketing, education, influencer, sales, and customer support teams to help manage social media activity, review and coordinate ad and campaign content, assist with video and podcast production, and support product launches and industry events. This is an in-person position at our headquarters in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and includes travel to key automotive trade shows and enthusiast events.

Automotive enthusiasts and “car people” are strongly preferred.

This is an in-person position at our Chattanooga, TN headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily marketing operations to ensure tasks, campaigns, and content are executed on schedule
• Create and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube (organic social)
• Review social media posts, captions, and ad copy for clarity, brand voice, and accuracy before publishing
• Monitor social media channels and collaborate with customer support to respond to or route comments, messages, and questions appropriately
• Assist with collaboration between marketing, education, and influencer programs by providing feedback, suggestions, and campaign support
• Help plan, assist with filming, recording, editing, coordinating, and uploading of the weekly podcast
• Assist with shooting and coordinating both sales-focused and educational video content
• Support the creation and refinement of product descriptions, marketing copy, and product feature highlights
• Attend and assist with coverage of key trade shows, events, and enthusiast gatherings (e.g., SEMA, PRI)
• Help organize assets, schedules, and deliverables related to campaigns, launches, and promotions
• Perform additional marketing-related tasks as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in marketing, social media, communications, or a related role
• Strong written communication skills, especially for captions, product descriptions, and marketing copy
• Comfortable coordinating tasks, timelines, and cross-team communication
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic content scheduling tools
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Basic experience with photo/video content tools (editing or assisting with editing, not heavy production)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for or familiarity with the automotive industry and enthusiast culture
• Experience reviewing or assisting with paid ads (Meta Ads, captions, creatives, etc.)
• Experience supporting podcasts, video shoots, or educational content
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools
• Experience attending or supporting trade shows or live events

Additional Information

• This role includes company-paid travel to trade shows and industry events
• We shoot using Nikon full-frame mirrorless cameras and DJI equipment (experience helpful but not required)
• Portfolio or examples of relevant marketing, social, or content support work are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
