Role Description
We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead and scale our regulatory function as we continue to grow. In this role, you will serve as the backbone of our compliance strategy—owning regulatory review across product development, labeling, and advertising claims to ensure everything is compliant, credible, and science-backed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain all regulatory documentation
- Lead the regulatory review and approval process for all product labels, packaging, advertising and marketing claims, ensuring compliance with FDA and FTC guidelines.
- Review and approve advertising copy across digital, social, influencer, email, website, and retail channels to ensure claims are accurate, substantiated, and compliant.
- Provide clear, practical guidance to Marketing, Brand, and Growth teams to enable compliant advertising and go-to-market execution.
- Develop scalable SOPs, playbooks, and training materials for labeling, advertising claims, and substantiation standards, embedding best practices into onboarding and internal workflows.
- Partner closely with Science, Product, Brand, Quality, and Operations to support products from concept through post-launch.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, science, or product development, including 4+ years within the dietary supplement or food industry.
- Bachelor's degree in health-related field, Master’s degree or JD preferred.
- Proven experience managing regulatory review for labeling, structure/function claims, and advertising claims from concept through commercialization.
- Deep working knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations governing dietary supplements, including labeling and claims substantiation.
- Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to building scalable, sustainable compliance processes
