Head of Growth

to lead and scale our DTC and ecommerce business. If you want to help build a purpose-driven dog food brand and make a real impact in the lives of dogs and their parents, we’d love to meet you.

The Role

The Head of Growth will own the strategy and day-to-day execution for our Direct-to-Consumer and ecommerce channels across

and Amazon. You’ll manage performance marketing, Shopify Plus optimization, Amazon channel development, subscriptions, CRM/lifecycle, and analytics while hitting DTC revenue and profitability goals.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can prioritize ruthlessly, and excels at both strategy and execution. You’ll work closely with Creative, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience, and manage agencies and freelancers.

Key Responsibilities

DTC & Ecommerce Leadership

  • Own growth and performance across Shopify Plus and Amazon.
  • Develop and execute a full-funnel strategy spanning acquisition, conversion, retention, and LTV.
  • Partner with Finance and Marketing leadership on budget planning and pacing.

Shopify Plus, CRO & Onsite Experience

  • Own the Shopify Plus storefront: UX, navigation, PDPs, merchandising, bundling, & subscription flows.
  • Lead CRO efforts with a strong A/B testing roadmap across PDPs, landing pages, and checkout.
  • Prioritize and implement site improvements with dev partners to increase conversion rate and AOV.

Performance Marketing

  • Manage and scale paid acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon Ads, affiliate, influencer, and emerging channels.
  • Optimize spend for both near-term ROAS and long-term LTV efficiency.
  • Drive New-to-Brand growth through audience segmentation and creative/funnel testing.
  • Lead and manage agency partners.

CRM, Lifecycle & Subscriptions

  • Own lifecycle marketing across Klaviyo & Postscript, including segmentation, flows & personalization.
  • Grow subscription revenue through churn reduction tactics and optimization.
  • Partner with Creative and agency partners to drive revenue and retention-driven programs.

Amazon and Marketplace Expansion

  • Build and own Amazon channel strategy including setup, PDPs, SEO, pricing integrity, ads & reporting.
  • Oversee Amazon Advertising performance and agency/execution partners.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks (Shopify Plus, GA4, Amazon).
  • Own performance metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, & retention analytics.
  • Provide clear weekly, monthly, and quarterly business insights to the leadership team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Creative for briefs, content needs, and testing.
  • Coordinate with Operations on inventory, forecasting, and promo calendars.
  • Align with Finance on budgeting, pacing, and revenue planning.

Who You Are

  • A strategic and hands-on growth marketer with a builder mindset.
  • Scrappy and entrepreneurial; adept at prioritizing resources.
  • Highly data-driven with strong instincts around CAC/LTV trade-offs and optimization.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Excellent collaborator across creative, ops, finance, and external partners.
  • Experienced owning a P&L or key revenue targets.
  • A dog lover (obviously).

Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years in DTC ecommerce or digital growth (CPG or Pet strongly preferred).
  • Direct experience launching or scaling Amazon (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central).
  • Deep experience managing paid acquisition across Meta, Google, and Amazon Advertising.
  • Hands-on ownership of a Shopify Plus storefront.
  • Strong understanding of CRO, onsite optimization, and merchandising principles.
  • Experience with CRM/lifecycle marketing (Klaviyo, SMS,).
  • Experience managing agencies and holding partners accountable to KPIs.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (GA4, Shopify Plus dashboards, Amazon reporting).
  • Experience with subscription businesses and LTV-focused growth models.
