Mayco Colors is seeking an early-career Marketing Specialist to support our growing marketing team at our Hilliard, OH headquarters. This role is ideal for someone with strong professionalism, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in content creation and brand storytelling. You’ll play a key role in executing our social content framework, strengthening community engagement, and supporting marketing campaigns.

This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and works closely with the broader Creative Services team.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Posting

• Own day-to-day content creation and posting across Mayco social channels, following the marketing calendar established by senior team members.
• Capture and edit photos, videos, and short-form content that aligns with brand voice, strategy and framework.
• Collaborate with designers and market specialists for higher-level creative needs.
• Ensure timely, accurate execution of scheduled posts and delivery of assets.
• Support copywriting, with the potential to take on more writing responsibilities over time.
• Work toward agreed-upon content KPIs by consistently delivering on quality, timeliness, and engagement benchmarks.

Social & Community Management

• Monitor and engage in Mayco’s online communities, including Facebook groups and other platform conversations.
• Respond to comments, questions, and messages; track recurring themes, FAQs, and content opportunities.
• Participate in outreach and engagement with influencers and consumers outside of our follower base

General Marketing Support

• Produce light graphic work using established assets in Canva and/or Adobe for social content, simple ads, merch, event signage and related needs.
• Assist with social boosting tactics and execution.
• Help with virtual event logistics, brainstorms, and live-stream support (IG/FB monthly Lives).
• Contribute to distributor marketing updates and product launch preparation where needed.
• Potential to take on more responsibilities and develop other skillsets as you grow into the role.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, related field, or relevant experience.
• 0–2+ years of professional experience
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and reliability are essential
• Strong familiarity with content creation tools and management of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube)
• Basic graphic design ability (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly
• Ability to work from our headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio during standard business hours
• Light monitoring of social channels outside of office hours may be required
• Copywriting skills

Preferred

• Comfort being on camera for casual content (not required but a major plus)
• Experience in creative industries is a plus
