Summary
As a State Manager, IID, you would be responsible for initiating, and fostering opportunities in your market. This will be achieved by scouting preferred partners, and developing new avenues, that will result in increased referrals of our product. Primary objectives will include: building relationships and driving referrals from Judges, Court Services, Attorney’s, Prosecutors, Treatment Facilities, Probation Officers, Service Centers, and Law Enforcement, just to name a few.
This position is in the Ignition Interlock industry and will require some technical aptitude and general management/business skills. A successful applicant will be responsible for implementing proven marketing, and sales strategies to expand the ADS market share and provide general support to service centers. This position will also represent our company with State Officials in the Ignition Interlock space.
Successful applicants should also be a tech savvy, self-starter, who works well unsupervised, and who is friendly, outgoing, results driven, and should have a true sales and customer service personality.
Essential Job Functions (Other Duties May Be Assigned.)
- Responsible for growing the active influencer base in your state
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers to include attorneys, schools, courts and probation departments
- Build and maintain relationships with service centers to include no less than a documented visit every 90 days (20% of work time)
- Develop loyalty programs for influencers and be responsible for the ongoing execution and analysis of program success
- Oversee state and service center location compliance programs
- Build ongoing communication plans to influencers to increase ADS presence in state
- Monitor competitive behavior including service center location needs and develop and execute counter plans to take share
- Track marketing and referral relationships
- Provide input and leadership into Directed’s point of sale material and sales collateral
- Develop programs to increase ARPU through competitive monitoring
- Develop value added new revenue sources such as extended warranties
- Report and detail competitive activity
- Work with Marketing and the Product development teams to spearhead new product introductions
- Frequent travel within state - 60% of work time.
Education & Experience
- Sales experience required.
- 2+ years of field sales experience preferably within the IID industry including working with the states, dealers, attorneys, alcohol and drug schools and consumers or other referral-based industries
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with referral programs and building loyalty programs
- General knowledge of installation and ignition interlock products
- Expertise in Direct Marketing and program ROI analysis
- Extensive experience in account planning, presentation and negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn new software programs specific to ignition interlock industry
