Description Betches is seeking a VP of Talent Relations & Creator Strategy to lead the evolution of our talent ecosystem across creators, comedians, actors, hosts, guests, and celebrity talent. In partnership with the leadership and talent team, the VP of Talent Relations & Creator Strategy will define a talent strategy for 2026 and beyond, building and shaping the Betches creator universe, expanding our march toward deeper A-list integration, and ensuring all talent feels distinctively aligned with the brand’s defining voice.

Reporting to the Chief Content Officer and supporting both organic and commercial content functions, the VP of Talent Relations & Creator Strategy will be an innovative leader who combines strong industry relationships and creator experience with a strategic approach to talent development, casting, and long-term talent partnerships. This person will partner closely with content, marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure that Betches is working with the A-list and emerging voices who best represent — and can expand — our cultural influence.

The ideal candidate has a sharp instinct for discovering emerging comedic talent, a proven ability to forge meaningful creator and industry partnerships, and experience overseeing casting across both branded and organic formats. They will also build efficient, scalable systems and databases for talent sourcing, contracting, collaboration, and ongoing relationship management. We’re seeking someone who pairs visionary thinking with a roll-up-your-sleeves operational mindset, has deep fluency in the creator economy, and brings exceptional comedic taste — helping the organization continue to build growth, relevance, and brand authority. We are looking for a resourceful, culturally tuned-in, empathetic, and relationship-driven leader who can scale our talent strategy, and build on a strong foundation to shape the next generation of iconic Betches voices.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and shape the Betches creator universe — developing a curated roster of exceedingly funny, culturally fluent creators who authentically reflect the brand and can integrate across organic and branded content.
  • Build upon strong relationships across agencies, managers, publicists, influencers, and celebrity teams to ensure Betches is always top of mind.
  • Oversee casting and talent selection for organic and branded content formats — including video, social series, podcasts, events, editorial features, and live programming.
  • Partner with leadership, content, and talent teams to align strategy with broader editorial objectives, brand voice, and company goals.
  • Develop a structured talent database that includes emerging creators, established influencers, cultural voices, comedians, personalities, and niche experts relevant to the Betches audience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, social, production, editorial, marketing, branded) to ensure talent is effectively integrated into campaigns, franchises, launches, and brand moments.
  • Partner with senior talent leadership to assess, refine, and scale existing talent operational systems, building on established foundations to improve efficiency and support continued growth across commercial and editorial initiatives.
  • Identify new opportunities for talent-driven brand expansion, including new shows, formats, partnerships, ambassador programs, and scalable creator-led initiatives.
  • Use data, cultural insights, and audience behavior to guide talent decisions and optimize performance.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a growing and exceptional talent team, providing clear guidance, support, and development paths that empower each member to thrive.
  • Represent Betches alongside talent team at industry events, festivals, and talent-focused gatherings to deepen network reach and secure future opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in creator agencies, talent management, influencer partnerships, casting, digital media, entertainment, and/or creator-led brand marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling creator agencies, talent programs, and/or influencer strategies for an entertainment company, agency, or consumer brand.
  • Deep network of relationships across creators, influencers, talent agencies, managers, and entertainment partners.
  • Strong instincts around cultural trends, emerging voices, and talent who resonate with Gen Z and millennial audiences.
  • Experience overseeing casting for video, editorial, and social formats — including long-form and short-form programming.
  • Deep experience in talent pitching and negotiation, with an ability to advocate effectively for both brand and talent, and secure partnerships that drive both creative and commercial value
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent-driven content strategies and partnerships that drive measurable growth.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing high-performing teams and building high-trust relationships.
  • Skilled collaborator able to work cross-functionally with editorial, social, marketing, production, branded content, and executive stakeholders.
  • Creative, culturally fluent, and highly attuned to the Betches brand voice and audience sensibilities.
  • Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

Compensation The expected annual base salary for this role is $170,000 - $200,000. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
