Cloud Architect

The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison client to hire a Cloud Architect . This is a

one year contract-to-hire

opportunity.

As a senior architect, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions to support business transformation in a multi-cloud environment. Leverage your AWS cloud architecture expertise to be a key influencer to guide this organization in its digital transformation journey.

Location : Madison, Wisconsin (hybrid). Must be currently located in the Madison, Wisconsin, area.

Comp : $80-84/hr.

Responsibilities include:

• Drive cloud strategy and adoption, aligning technology with business goals.
• Architect high-performing, resilient cloud infrastructures.
• Champion security and compliance, implementing robust controls and governance.
• Optimize performance and cost through modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
• Collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and present solutions to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security.
• Expertise in AWS and multi-cloud environments required.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), DevOps, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to bridge technical and business conversations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
