Responsibilities

  • Lead with Creativity and Precision: Design and execute integrated marketing, communications, and social media programs that capitalize on unique, newsworthy opportunities while leveraging unexpected moments to amplify brand visibility.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and manage quarterly marketing goals, integrated strategies, and calendars focused on expanding brand awareness, driving engagement, and increasing bookings.
  • Event Marketing Excellence: Curate a dynamic event strategy aligned with quarterly objectives, blending local programming and strategic brand partnerships to deepen audience affinity.
  • Media & Community Relations: Build and maintain influential relationships with media and community leaders; host press visits, assist with photo shoots, and serve as the hotel spokesperson when appropriate.
  • Content & Social Media Leadership: Create and execute a robust content strategy across property websites, social channels, advertising, and email campaigns, including organic and paid initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends and implement changes that ensure the property remains relevant and competitive.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with department heads and business leaders to align marketing and programming recommendations with operational goals.
  • F&B Marketing Integration: Work closely with Food & Beverage teams to drive traffic to outlets through targeted campaigns and activations.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Forge alliances with local brands and businesses that complement the hotel’s luxury positioning.
  • Brand Integrity: Ensure all communications reflect and reinforce the property’s brand identity and high-energy luxury lifestyle.
  • Reputation Management: Act as a strategic advisor on communications, monitoring public sentiment, managing issues, and leading crisis response when necessary.
  • Community Engagement: Oversee CSR initiatives, internal communications, and VIP guest activities with a strategic, brand-aligned approach.
  • Paid Media Execution: Collaborate with corporate eCommerce teams to plan and execute paid social campaigns targeting global guests and local audiences.
  • Visual Storytelling: Organize and oversee photography and videography sessions to ensure premium assets for media, digital platforms, and collateral.
  • CRM & Email Marketing: Maintain regular contact with past guests through email marketing and CRM tools in coordination with corporate teams.
  • Digital Presence: Ensure all web assets—including websites, microsites, and landing pages—are current and aligned with business objectives.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with Sales leaders to develop awareness campaigns and impactful sales materials.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing, ensuring optimal ROI.
  • Influencer Engagement: Build and maintain a roster of influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators; identify hosting opportunities aligned with quarterly goals.
  • Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly reports on marketing plans, campaigns, and KPIs to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Event Support: Assist with activations and special events that reinforce the property’s luxury positioning.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management to support the success of the property.

Qualifications

  • Ability to create newsworthy events, develop compelling story ideas, and execute successful media pitches.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Marketing and Communications, with hospitality industry experience essential.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies for individual hotels, including measuring ROI and KPI performance.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in creative tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (General Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Revenue, Regional Team) and external partners (media representatives, PR firms).
  • Highly creative mindset with the ability to organize exclusive, brand-aligned events.
  • Expertise in social media marketing and content creation across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and follow-up.
