  • 9 years of experience in marketing working in Product Marketing.
  • 5 years of experience marketing Cloud Security products.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in marketing, business or a technical field.
  • Experience in marketing security products used in cloud or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple product management and marketing teams.
  • Experience launching and marketing technology solutions globally.
  • Excellent writing, communication and structured thinking skills.

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security, for Google Cloud you will take part in a complete marketing experience as you guide every facet of the product's journey. You will be responsible for driving the product marketing for a range of cloud security products and data security capabilities that help organizations meet data privacy, security, and compliance standards. This means making cloud security products and solution value propositions real through the creation of product narratives, technology showcases and direct experiences, and working to scale our messages and technical content through a range of different channels. You will work with a cross-functional team across sales, product management, corporate communications, engineering and more.

In this role, you will be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. You will generate high-impact ideas, clearly prioritize work, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive them to completion. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work and collaborate with marketing, sales and product management to define and deliver the differentiated Google Cloud security value proposition.
  • Drive awareness of Google Cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security products in the market through defining a compelling narrative and engaging with key influencers.
  • Develop solution narratives and product adoption strategies for cloud security.
  • Build fans and advocates and help them tell their story.
