Position Summary:

The Director of Content and Communications will own the creative direction, content strategy, and external communications for GOLFTEC Enterprises. This leader will oversee all content development, creative execution, and public relations efforts, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence across channels.

Partnering closely with the Brand Directors for GOLFTEC and SkyTrak, this role will be the steward of the company’s storytelling and visual identity, responsible for shaping the look, feel, and voice of our brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a holistic content strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and loyalty across all platforms (digital, social, video, print, events).
  • Lead and mentor the creative and video production teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand assets.
  • Establish brand guidelines and ensure consistency in visual and written communications globally.
  • Oversee content calendars, campaign messaging, and creative workflows to align with business goals.
  • Create a newsroom mentality with the creative team to ensure content is steady and nimble to the adjusting needs of the business

Communications & PR

  • Own the company’s external communications strategy, including media relations, press releases, and thought leadership.
  • Build and manage relationships with key media outlets, industry publications, and influencers.
  • Partner with leadership to craft executive communications, speaking opportunities, and industry presence.
  • Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and brand reputation, providing insights and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work in close coordination with the GOLFTEC and SkyTrak Brand Directors to align creative and messaging with broader brand strategies.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure storytelling supports business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and creative partners when needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in content, communications, or brand leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of managing creative teams and producing compelling, high-performing content.
  • Strong background in public relations, media strategy, and reputation management.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy and creative development across multiple channels.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Passion for golf and sports is a strong plus.
