Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is providing marketing support for a large gaming console including accessories, and future devices. The team oversees both first-party and third-party devices, with a specific focus on the Design program.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to all of the responsibilities outlined in the job description below.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 30% of meetings, 20-30% managing partner communications for the Design program and internal team emails 3) 50-60% working on various projects, ensuring clarity on priorities and tasks.

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: BA degree in marketing or a related field is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates without any experience in the gaming industry and marketing will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain significant experience in both gaming industry and marketing, with strong visual storytelling skills and communications skills.
o Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on 1) Feedback from partners in the team 2) The ability to complete work smoothly and independently 3) Clarity on tasks and the ability to deliver without extensive hand-holding 4) quality of work 5) positive feedback from partners, focusing on both results and the process of achieving them
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 8+ years experience with storytelling in a marketing role – sbuilding slides for product launches distilling complex data into straightforward stories.
2. Minimum 8+ years experience with great strategic marketing skills and communication skills
3. Minimum 5+ years experience within the gaming industry

The Devices Marketing team offers a unique opportunity to shape multiple aspects of a fast-evolving industry. This role plays a key part in driving the emerging handheld category for our console, leading marketing programs for licensed accessory partners, and supporting the broader Accessories business.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will:
• Support go-to-market (GTM) execution for console Handheld initiatives and key Accessories programs.
• Support the Designed for console marketing program for 3P accessories.
• Collaborate across our teams to deliver impactful campaigns and ensure seamless alignment between internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Handheld and Accessories GTM Support
• GTM Planning & Execution:
o In partnership with GTM lead develop overview and schedule of GTM deliverables.
o Support development and manage roll out product and promotional messaging across internal and external partners.
o Manage GTM communications ROB (meeting calendar, agendas, content, reporting, notes, follow-ups).
o Drive GTM execution, including channel support overview, alignment, and performance reporting.
o Maintain the GTM calendar and proactively track milestones to ensure timely delivery of all commitments.
• Sample & Logistics Management:
o Oversee sample inventory and loaner programs.
o Coordinate device readiness (OS updates, gaming subscription identities, optimized game lists).
o Develop best practices and content for loaner users.
• Simplify complex information into clear, compelling stories that engage and inform.
• Support ad-hoc requests for content and marketing deliverables.
Designed for console Marketing Program
• Marketing Calendar: Build and manage the 3P accessory marketing calendar in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
• Demand Generation: Drive awareness and sales through strategic marketing during key console product and PR beats.
• Partner Collaboration: Develop communication pipelines, coordinate marketing activities, and manage asset procurement (messaging, renders, marketing materials).
• Channel Marketing Execution:
o Execute campaigns across console-owned channels (main websites, social media, CRM, influencer programs).
o Support with submissions, reviews, and approvals for marketing assets.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in product marketing, GTM execution, or similar roles in technology or gaming.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with marketing strategies for physical and digital products, including merchandising and demand generation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, retail, PR, and events teams.
• Collaborative mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with consoles, gaming devices, or consumer tech products.
• Knowledge of licensed partnerships and 3P product marketing.
• Proficiency in logistics and sample management.
• Familiarity with gaming subscriptions and cloud gaming technologies.
