About the job

BUILT ON FLAVOR. FUELED BY PEOPLE.

What's it like to work at Kinder's? Well, there's a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there's also plenty of hard work. Because we don't just like flavor, we're obsessed with it.

With over 100 products sold nationwide, we're now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We're not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder-led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.

As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to come aboard. If you're looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it! Every day, you'll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

The Influencer Marketing Manager will build a powerful community of culinary storytellers, grillmasters, home cooks, and food experimenters who bring Kinder's flavor to life. This role owns end-to-end influencer strategy, outreach, negotiations, content review, and reporting across paid and earned programs.

This person will be deeply embedded in the food content landscape, from macro TikTok kitchen talent to micro-influencers sharing simple weeknight recipes. They will identify influencers who can authentically showcase our products—and help scale Kinder's presence through culturally relevant, high-performing content.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Strategy & Program Design

  • Define Kinder's approach to influencer marketing including strategies for seasonal moments (e.g., football season, summer grilling, holiday), product launches, cooking trends, retailer needs and evergreen flavor storytelling.
  • Own annual influencer budget, contract workflows and paid media support.

Influencer Sourcing, Vetting & Negotiation

  • Identify influencers across whose cooking style and audience align with Kinder's brand ethos.
  • Leverage current agency partner while exploring alternative platforms to source creators, evaluate performance, and negotiate fair rates.
  • Build long-term relationships with influencers, agents, and managers.

Campaign & Content Management

  • Manage end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns: briefing, reviewing content, providing feedback, and driving approvals.
  • Ensure content feels real and authentic to the creator—NOT overly polished, scripted or product forward.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, video completion, saves, and shares. Use data insights to optimize future strategies and demonstrate program impact.
  • Build custom reports for cross-functional teams summarizing results and learnings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Social Media Manager and the Digital Team to ensure influencer content aligns with brand priorities, campaign messaging and is integrated into organic channels and the website.
  • Collaborate with Community Management Coordinator and Social Media Manager on the product seeding program.
  • Work with Legal/Compliance on FTC guidelines and brand safety.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of influencer/creator marketing experience within food, lifestyle, or CPG.
  • Strong track record of managing influencer campaigns with measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of food creator culture, kitchen content formats, and platform trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with talent and agents.
  • Strong negotiation skills for contracts, deliverables, and rates.
  • Ability to manage budget, reporting, and multiple creator workflows simultaneously.
  • Proficient with influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience using data to make informed decisions and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Things About the Way We Work

  • No two days here are the same.
  • We try to be good team members and good communicators, but we don't live by hierarchy and structure – everyone is a difference maker here.
  • We make a lot of decisions in the face of incomplete information – our team embraces ambiguity and tries to make good decisions fast rather than great decisions slow.
  • We believe our job is to take smart risk, not to eliminate risk.
  • We believe in growing our skills and becoming a better company with more managerial expertise, but we are an entrepreneurial company at heart.
  • We aren't trying to be average – we want to do exceptional things and we are willing to work hard to achieve them.

Pay Transparency

The expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000- $130,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
