We’re not just making gear — we’re building the tools fighters trust when it matters most. Since 2007, Combat Corner has been in the trenches of MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, and BJJ - crafting gloves, apparel, and equipment that can go round after round. From local gyms to world champions, our gear is tested in real fights, real training, and real sweat. Now, we’re looking for a Creative Director / Brand Manager to take our vision, crank it to 11, and make sure the world knows what we stand for.
Your Mission
You’ll own the Combat Corner brand — from the way we look and sound to how fighters feel when they put on our gear. You’ll drive creative strategy, manage campaigns, and ensure every touchpoint screams authentic fight culture.
This is a leadership role for someone who’s just as comfortable brainstorming big-picture campaigns as they are rolling up their sleeves to direct a photo shoot or design killer apparel graphics.
The Role
You’ll be the creative brain behind the Combat Corner brand — the person who shapes how we look, sound, and feel across every channel. This isn’t a “sit in a corner and approve graphics” gig. You’ll be hands-on, from concept sketches to launch campaigns, from locker room vibes to trade show floors. If you can lead a creative team, keep the brand tight, and tell stories that make fighters want to represent us, this is your fight.
What You'll Do
- Own the Combat Corner brand identity — making sure every product drop, campaign, and post feels like it’s straight from the fight world.
- Lead creative for product launches, apparel designs, and marketing campaigns that hit like a clean right cross.
- Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to deliver campaigns that drive hype and sales.
- Oversee everything from social media content to photography, video shoots, packaging, and in-store visuals.
- Collaborate with sponsored fighters and gyms to create authentic, community-driven content.
- Keep an eye on the fight scene, lifestyle trends, and competitors so we’re always one step ahead.
- Manage designers, photographers, freelancers, and agencies to keep projects sharp, on time, and on budget.
- Develop brand guidelines so tight they could cut weight.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field — or an equally strong track record of making brands impossible to ignore.
- 5+ years in creative direction or brand management, ideally in sporting goods, streetwear, or lifestyle brands.
- A killer portfolio showing work that connects with a passionate, style-driven audience.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and comfortable around cameras, content production, and editing workflows.
- Experience with e-commerce marketing, social media growth, and influencer/athlete partnerships.
- Leadership chops and the ability to keep a creative team locked in and producing under pressure.
- Must be a combat sports fan. Bonus points if you train, coach, or compete in MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling or jiu jitsu.
