SummaryUEG is looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to drive our Platform and Content Partnerships discipline. This person is deeply immersed in digital culture - they know how YouTube monetizes, what TikTok favors in its algorithm this week, and how creators are shaping the next wave of cultural relevance and consumer behavior, especially among Gen Z and Gen Alpha. They are fluent in the language of the internet, understand the nuance of online communities, and have a sharp sense for what’s culturally resonant - from viral moments to platform-native storytelling trends. You’ll identify opportunities, develop bold ideas, strike breakthrough deals, and help our clients show up meaningfully in the world of streaming, digital, and branded content. ResponsibilitiesPlatform Partnerships & Innovation:
- Build and lead relationships with a wide range of content platforms - from major players like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Snap, and Pinterest to emerging and niche platforms like Twitch, Discord, Reddit, LinkedIn, Spotify, Patreon, Substack, Kick, Lemon8, and BeReal - while staying connected to the content engines and creator ecosystems driving engagement on them (e.g., Spotter, Jellysmack, Ensemble).
- Identify native, innovative, and culturally relevant opportunities for brand integrations and storytelling across a variety of formats and feeds.
- Negotiate and close platform/content-led deals that unlock distribution advantages, creator access, and compelling IP.
Strategy, Ideation & Business Development:
- Develop insight-driven content and partnership strategies rooted in platform behavior, creator ecosystems, and emerging cultural moments.
- Pitch ideas directly both toour clients and platforms, bringing both storytelling and business savvy acumen to the table.
- Contribute to new business development, helping scope opportunities, lead partnership elements of pitches, and grow client relationships in collaboration with our account, growth and business development teams.
Project & Client Leadership:
- Oversee and work with a team responsible for the execution of partnership-driven campaigns - from concept to deal to launch, working with our broader team
- Act as a senior-level client lead on content initiatives, setting expectations, delivering strategic counsel, and driving measurable results.
- Collaborate across creative, strategy, production, and business affairs teams to ensure successful execution of all content and platform-led programs.
Team & Organizational Impact:
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of creativity, curiosity, and continuous learning.
- Help shape internal processes and workflows around platform deals, branded content programs, and partnership integrations.
- Represent the agency externally, building meaningful relationships across creators, studios, streamers, and platform partners, while keeping a finger on the pulse of what’s trending and what’s next.
Who You Are:* A culturally in-tune, platform-fluent dealmaker who understands the business of influence, content, and internet culture, all through the lens of partnerships, curation and deal-development.
- Deep knowledge of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Twitch, Discord, and other emerging digital platforms — and how brands can show up authentically and impactfully.
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, content strategy, entertainment, digital media, or agency-side roles.
- Proven success developing, pitching, and closing innovative branded content or creator-driven partnerships.
- Comfortable navigating IP, business affairs, and media distribution dynamics.
- An excellent communicator, creative thinker, and proactive collaborator.
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and plugged into what’s next.
$80,000 - $120,000 per year #LI-IR1 An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
