Kessler Presents is one of the most respected independent concert promoters in the country; currently presenting over 500 concerts annually in The Kessler Theater, The Heights Theater, and the Longhorn Ballroom & Backyard Amphitheater. The company is adding key personnel as it continues to grow with the opening of the Longhorn Backyard, a state-of-the-art boutique amphitheater for its inaugural season in 2026.

Job Overview
The Marketing Specialist is a full-time position based in Dallas that is responsible for overseeing the execution of marketing initiatives and driving ticket sales within all company venues. The Marketing Specialist will work with the Marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans with artist teams to target demographics and drive conversions for each show. This role requires constant communication with talent buyers and leadership to implement best practices across email, social, media buying, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing and tracking multiple budgets, allocating funds correctly, and placing media buys to optimize ticket sales by reaching the right consumer with the right message at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee marketing efforts for weekly concert announcements. Develop and execute integrated marketing plans for each and communicate plans and art with artists teams for approval.
  • Manage marketing spend, media buying, and advertising settlements.
  • Create and optimize digital ad campaigns to drive ticket sales, including copywriting and scheduling for targeted demographics. Track market performance and adjust strategies based on competitive conditions.
  • Manage email and SMS marketing platforms.
  • Oversee maintenance of venue websites.
  • Manage approval processes and execution of promotional giveaways and sweepstakes.
  • Update and organize internal marketing systems with accurate event and artist details.
  • Assist with marketing plans for special projects and overall marketing strategy for Kessler Presents venues.
  • Pitch media promotions, coordinate media buys and giveaways.
  • Conduct marketing research, identify influencer and local promo opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience managing traditional and digital marketing efforts for a concert promoter or music venue.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, X, Google, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Must be detail orientated with a high standard for quality and able to multitask and manage multiple campaigns and projects at once.
  • A strong passion for live music, local culture, and event marketing.
  • Exhibits the ability to switch from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, ability to prove ideas are analytically sound.
  • Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
