SUMMARY

Armada is looking for a Director of Commercial Marketing, working closely with Sales, Client Experience, and solutions teams to drive campaigns and programs that increase engagement, new business, and create and accelerate pipeline and sales cycles with clients and prospects. The ideal candidate will be experienced aligning commercial marketing with company go-to-market strategy, and developing and executing account-, solution- and industry-specific new-business, up-sell and cross-sell campaigns, globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with other senior marketing and sales leaders to create full-funnel, integrated marketing plans that support company go-to-market strategy and sales priorities.
  • Define demand generation and ABM strategy, annual goals, and KPIs, and manage annual commercial marketing plan and budget to ensure predictable inbound lead generation and drive early, mid- and late-stage pipeline with existing and new clients
  • Provide regular reporting and measurement of commercial marketing campaigns and activities and ensure close collaboration and alignment across commercial marketing, sales development, and sales teams
  • Hire, onboard and lead a team of marketing professionals who liaise with sales teams, solutions consulting, product marketing and customer success to develop and manage muti-channel digital marketing campaigns leveraging content syndication, digital display and retargeting ads, LinkedIn Sponsored ads and Lead Gen forms, Pardot email campaigns, Paperflite content hubs and Armada.net
  • Have a deep understanding of 6Sense or other account-based marketing automation platforms and ensure commercial marketing teams leverage, identify and monitor buyer intent keywords and buying stage to orchestrate buyer intent-driven campaigns to segmented audiences at scale
  • Ensure effective, efficient collaboration with marketing communications, events, brand, marketing operations, customer success, sales, and solutions management to coordinate campaigns and ensure effective campaigns to in-market accounts and target personas
  • Identify and manage paid media opportunities with industry publications, industry influencers, and other third parties that influence in-market opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing Analytics to develop and deliver closed-loop marketing reporting, dashboards, and analysis on campaign performance, and pipeline and revenue attribution
  • Work closely with sales, customer success, and other teams to identify clients available to join demand gen programs
  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 15+ years of B2B demand generation, field marketing and digital marketing experience, including 10+ years leading demand generation strategy and teams
  • Proven experience working with senior sales and product teams
  • Enterprise SaaS or supply chain marketing experience is a major plus
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation (Salesforce + Marketo preferred)
  • Experience with an ABM/ABX platform (e.g. 6sense, DemandBase, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) to orchestrate buyer intent-driven campaigns preferred
  • Experience leveraging content hub tools (e.g. Paperflite) tailored to the buyer’s journey and social advocacy tools (e.g. Sprout) to drive account engagement is a plus
  • Track record of consistently delivering measurable results and making data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated analytical approach, understanding of core marketing and pipeline metrics
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt and align with business needs
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects with flawless execution
  • Possess a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
    • Placing and receiving phone calls
    • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
    • May require occasional travel as needed
