MARA is seeking a highly creative, organized, and culture-obsessed Social Media & Content Manager to help bring the MARA brand to life across social platforms. This role is equal parts content creator, community builder, and brand storyteller, owning day-to-day execution across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook while working closely with our Brand & Marketing team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

CONTENT CREATION

  • Create, capture, and edit engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Support content creation across product launches, campaigns, influencer moments, events, cofounders and evergreen brand storytelling
  • Capture high-quality iPhone content (video + stills), including behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and movement-based moments
  • Ensure all content aligns with MARA's visual identity, tone of voice, and brand standards
  • Strong editing skills for paid social creatives

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • Own the social content calendar, scheduling posts across all platforms
  • Publish posts, stories, reels, TikToks, and lead weekly TikTok Lives
  • Lead the brand’s broadcast channel, IG highlights, etc
  • Manage giveaways, collaborations, and community moments
  • Track content performance and surface insights on what’s resonating

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

  • Act as a frontline brand ambassador, building genuine relationships with the MARA community
  • Respond to DMs, comments, and tagged content in a timely, thoughtful, and on-brand voice
  • Flag trends, FAQs, customer feedback, and cultural moments to the broader team

PLATFORM GROWTH & TREND ANALYSIS

  • Stay tapped into emerging trends, formats, sounds, creators, and platform updates
  • Proactively pitch new content series, founder POV formats, and creative concepts
  • Support influencer seeding, reposting, and organic creator amplification

INFLUENCER + CREATOR

  • Help identify and vet creators for paid and organic partnerships (e.g., ShopMy and similar platforms)
  • Track influencer deliverables, including high-profile talent and brand ambassadors
  • Support the development of campaign-based influencer guidelines and toolkits
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to support influencer and creator invite lists for events

REPORTING

  • Support quarterly reports, campaign recaps, and influencer performance summaries
  • Track KPIs, including reach, engagement, and content performance across social and influencer efforts
  • Monitor competitor benchmarks and industry trends to inform content direction

FOUNDER CONTENT

  • Proactively pitch platform-native content ideas featuring MARA founder
  • Capture founder-led content including workouts, routines, travel moments, BTS meetings, product development, wellness habits, and personal POVs
  • Provide light direction during capture to ensure content feels natural, confident, and on-brand
  • Edit and publish founder content while maintaining a cohesive MARA brand voice

CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAM COLLABORATION

  • Partner with Brand, Marketing, and Wholesale teams to align on content, campaigns, and timelines
  • Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand (ideally in wellness/fitness, beauty or fashion space)
  • Strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok, including short-form video and trend adaptation
  • Comfortable capturing content with founders in real time (events, meetings, travel, workouts)
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and pacing
  • Highly organized, proactive, and confident communicating ideas
  • Passionate about wellness, fitness, design-forward brands, and culture

BONUS POINTS IF YOU...

  • Are fluent in social tools like ShopMy and graphic tools like Adobe and Canva
  • Have basic analytics or reporting experience
  • Have experience supporting executive or founder-led content
  • Can concept → capture → edit → post independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
