ASSISTANT MANAGER, CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT

Compensation Range: $30 - 35 per hour

A major beauty retailer is seeking an Assistant Manager, Consumer Engagement (TEMP) to provide essential support across the high-impact Influencer Marketing, Social, and PR teams. This role sits at the center of a fast-paced and highly visible division.

Reporting directly to a senior leader with dotted-line support to directors across the three key areas, you will play a critical role in ensuring day-to-day operations run seamlessly. This position is ideal for someone who excels in a deadline-driven environment while supporting high-impact campaigns, product launches, and major events.

Responsibilities:

Influencer Marketing, Social & PR Support

• Assist with the coordination of influencer mailers, seeding shipments, gifting lists, and product inventory management across the full team.
• Track project timelines and ensure leaders are aware of key deadlines tied to launches, events, product orders, and marketing initiatives.
• Support reporting and tracking through influencer platforms (e.g., Traackr) to ensure accuracy and visibility.

Project & Operational Support

• Provide administrative and operational support across Influencer Marketing, PR, Social Media, Community Management, and Eventing.
• Help prepare presentations, reports, and internal documentation.
• Practice strong judgment, prioritization, and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Vendor & Budget Support

• Own budget tracking, process purchase orders, support vendor onboarding, and manage invoices.
• Maintain budget trackers and support PO reconciliation.
• Keep team databases and shared drives organized for optimal team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, PR, influencer, social media, or related fields.
• Experience supporting influencer programs, marketing operations, or agency teams preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience with influencer platforms (e.g., Traackr) is a plus.
• Beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industry experience strongly preferred.
