Overview:

We’re a small but ambitious vintage apparel and lifestyle brand based in East Austin, Texas. We’re looking for someone experienced who can deliver top-tier creative results and strategic growth with minimal direction.

Someone to lead both our digital presence and our real-world growth opportunities. This role blends creative content creation with relationship-building, brand partnerships, and market/vendor outreach.

You’ll be responsible not only for how the brand looks and sounds online, but also for helping open doors — connecting Daddy’s Home Vintage with vendors, collaborators, events, and partnerships that align with our aesthetic and values.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who understands culture, vintage, fashion, and community, and who is comfortable representing the brand both online and in person.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Develop and execute a consistent social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
  • Create, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content (in-store, product, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes)
  • Plan and manage content calendars, launches, and campaigns
  • Write captions and messaging that align with Daddy’s Home Vintage’s voice and aesthetic
  • Track engagement, growth, and performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly

Partnerships & Brand Growth

  • Identify, pitch, and manage brand partnerships, collaborations, and influencer relationships
  • Build relationships with vendors, makers, markets, and pop-up opportunities
  • Coordinate collaborations that result in content, events, or co-branded initiatives
  • Represent Daddy’s Home Vintage at markets, pop-ups, and community events when needed
  • Help source and organize opportunities for in-store activations and special events

Community & Brand Representation

  • Engage with the Daddy’s Home Vintage community online and in person
  • Build authentic relationships with customers, creators, and collaborators
  • Act as a brand ambassador who understands and protects the Daddy’s Home Vintage identity
  • Assist with storytelling around the brand’s history, values, and products

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or brand marketing
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and algorithms
  • Comfortable creating content on a phone and/or camera (editing skills a plus)
  • Experience with or interest in brand partnerships, outreach, or community building
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Interest in vintage clothing, fashion, art, music, or culture is a major plus

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate between $30-$45/hr or monthly retainer (based on experience)
  • Potential for commission or bonuses tied to partnerships, events, or sales growth
  • Opportunity to grow the role as the brand expands
