Field Marketing Specialist — Salata (Franchise)
About the Role
The Field Marketing Specialist plays a key role in bringing the Salata brand to life across local communities. This position supports local store teams, builds brand awareness within key neighborhoods, and helps drive trial, catering growth, and guest engagement through grassroots marketing and community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Local Strategy & Execution
Support the rollout of localized, always-on field marketing initiatives that elevate the Salata brand in assigned markets. Execute grassroots outreach, in-store activations, local partnerships, sampling efforts, and community campaigns aligned with national marketing strategies.
Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with community groups, local influencers, office hubs, fitness studios, wellness partners, and mission-aligned organizations. Represent Salata authentically in the community to deepen brand affinity and drive new guest acquisition.
Catering Marketing & Growth
Help expand awareness and adoption of Salata catering by supporting local outreach, sampling efforts, and B2B relationship building. Identify high-potential catering clients and support store teams in generating leads. Provide local insights on catering trends and opportunities to help grow the program.
New Restaurant Openings (NROs)
Assist in planning and activating new store openings, ensuring strong community awareness and early guest engagement. Tasks include local outreach, pre-opening sampling, event support, managing opening-week activations, and capturing early customer feedback.
Cross-Functional Support
Partner closely with store leaders, Regional Operations, and Support Center teams (Brand, Digital, Loyalty, Catering, Operations) to ensure all field marketing programs are aligned, consistent, and effectively executed.
Event Presence & On-Site Activation
Serve as the on-the-ground brand ambassador at Salata stores, events, fitness activations, sampling moments, and community pop-ups. Manage setup and teardown, engage guests, ensure brand consistency, and gather real-time customer insights.
Project Coordination & Budget Tracking
Assist with project timelines, vendor coordination, and event logistics. Support regional and NRO
budget tracking, invoice processing, and accurate expense reporting to ensure efficient use of
marketing resources.
Market Insights & Reporting
Monitor local trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback. Track performance of localized efforts
and provide regular reporting to help optimize strategies and improve market-level results.
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in field marketing, grassroots marketing, community engagement,
hospitality marketing, or related roles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination abilities.
- Experience with catering/B2B outreach, community partnerships, or hospitality-driven programs is a plus.
- Comfortable traveling regularly within assigned markets and supporting events during evenings or weekends as needed.
- Self-motivated, creative, resourceful, and tuned into local cultural, wellness, and food trends.
- Genuine passion for the Salata brand, mission, and commitment to fresh, customizable,
community-centered food.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
