Scope of the Role The Social Media Specialist elevates Best Choice Products’ social media strategy through data-driven content development, campaign execution, and audience growth initiatives across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest. This role is responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, brand storytelling, and commerce performance. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities* Lead the day-to-day management of brand social channels, ensuring all content ladders up to campaign goals, product priorities, and brand voice.

  • Partner in the strategy development and execution of social content strategies that drive engagement, community growth, and conversion across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Experience working within TikTok Shop, Meta Commerce Manager, and YouTube Studio for posting, optimizing content, and ensuring product tagging accuracy.
  • Oversee the social content calendar, ensuring optimal cadence, creative diversity, and timely posting across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Influencer teams to concept content that aligns with product launches, promotions, and social trends.
  • Produce, edit, publish short-form, long-form video content optimized for platform algorithms and engagement metrics.
  • Partner with Social Commerce Specialist on Live Shopping Events hosted through our Brand pages.
  • Partner with Creative team-members to test new content formats, storytelling approaches, and visual styles to maximize reach and performance.
  • Implement content best practices across organic and paid social to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Partner with Creator and Influencer team members to integrate UGC and creator content to complement brand-led storytelling and social commerce efforts.
  • Monitor comment sentiment, moderate conversations, and execute the brand’s escalation guidelines for sensitive or crisis-related topics.
  • Lead community management efforts by setting tone, response guidelines, and engagement goals across all channels .
  • Develop outbound engagement strategies to strengthen relationships with customers, creators, and key social communities.
  • Monitor audience sentiment and proactively identify opportunities for real-time engagement and trend participation.
  • Track and own KPIs including content output cadence, community engagement, organic reach, and audience growth, applicable conversions, etc.
  • Analyze social performance data to identify growth opportunities and content optimizations.
  • Build weekly and monthly social performance reports that highlight wins, insights, and next steps.
  • Partner with Paid Media and E-commerce teams to connect organic social insights to conversion and sales metrics.
  • Stay ahead of emerging platform updates, algorithm shifts, and content innovations to ensure brand competitiveness. Qualifications & Required Experience* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital content strategy, or community management (consumer brand or CPG focused agency experience preferred).
  • Proven experience managing brand social accounts and producing platform-native content.
  • Strong understanding of social algorithms, content performance metrics, and community engagement strategies.
  • Skilled in short-form video production and editing (native social platforms, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva or similar)
  • Experience with post scheduling and analytics tools (Bazaarvoice, Sprout Social, or equivalent)
  • Experience utilizing social listening technology (CreatorIQ, Tribe, or similar) in partnership with Influencer & Creator team members to optimize EMV and share of voice + brand equity.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills with the ability to balance creativity and strategy.
  • Experience using social management and analytics tools (Sprout Social, Later, native insights, etc.).
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Experience creating organic social content for CPG product catalogs and working in collaboration with influencer and creator marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Familiarity with social optimization and content amplification strategies are preferred.
  • Understanding of social commerce trends and shoppable content formats preferred.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using insights to refine creative strategy.
  • Passion for emerging social trends, storytelling innovation, and community-first brand building.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$85,000 USD annually. You will also be eligible to participate in BCP’s benefits and bonus programs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills and experience.
