Position Summary
The Communications Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that elevate Dynamic Integrated Security’s brand visibility and thought leadership in the school security sector. This role oversees podcast production, creative marketing campaigns, brand positioning, digital content, and industry engagement initiatives. The Communications Manager ensures consistent, high-quality messaging across all platforms while driving innovative approaches to strengthen the company’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Podcast Development & Management
- Lead planning, production, and coordination of the organization’s official podcast.
- Manage content creation, editorial calendars, guest outreach/management, and studio logistics.
- Oversee recording, post-production, and distribution across all channels.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies for podcast episodes via social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.
- Ensure alignment of podcast content with brand messaging and organizational goals.
2. Creative Marketing Strategy
- Develop innovative, multi-channel marketing initiatives that support business objectives and strengthen brand authority.
- Research and propose creative campaigns including digital marketing, influencer collaborations, content marketing, and experiential activations.
- Identify and integrate emerging marketing tools, technologies, and trends from the security and education industries.
- Translate strategic insights into actionable, measurable marketing plans.
3. Brand Enhancement & Positioning
- Conduct brand assessments and recommend enhancements to increase visibility and credibility in the school security sector.
- Create and execute campaigns such as white papers, webinars, presentations, and speaking engagements for leadership.
- Ensure all communications reflect consistent brand identity and strengthen the client value proposition.
- Maintain thought leadership positioning through coordinated content and messaging strategies.
4. Market Research & Innovation
- Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Advise leadership on emerging market demands and proactive communication approaches.
- Recommend and test new marketing tools, platforms, and methodologies to optimize reach and ROI.
- Provide regular reporting on campaign performance and insights.
5. Project Leadership & Coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact for all communications and marketing-related timelines and deliverables.
- Manage budgets, resources, project schedules, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure all projects meet established quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Prepare periodic updates, analytics summaries, and strategic reports for leadership.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field required.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, media production, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Prior experience in podcast production, digital content creation, or brand strategy preferred.
- Experience in security, education, or public-safety industries is a plus.

Working Conditions
- Hybrid work setting with in-person attendance for podcast production, events, or meetings as required.
