Joining the talented Account Management team at #TeamIZEA, our Account Director plays a pivotal role in elevating client partnerships, shaping strategic programs, and driving measurable growth across influencer and creator led marketing. Sitting at the intersection of brand strategy, creator insight, and cross functional leadership, you will serve as a trusted partner to Director+ level clients, anticipating needs, influencing decisions, and shaping ideas that push work forward. You will lead complex campaigns, unlock opportunities that enhance both client success and agency performance, and mentor teams to deliver exceptional work the IZEA way.

Your Responsibilities And Contributions Will Drive Value

  • Own senior level client relationships, acting as the primary strategic partner and ensuring alignment between client objectives and creator-driven solutions.
  • Develop and present campaign strategies that blend platform insights, cultural trends, and creator opportunities to drive measurable performance.
  • Oversee full campaign lifecycle, from briefing and ideation through execution and reporting, ensuring consistent quality and on-time delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Production, Talent, and Insights to develop smart, integrated creator experiences.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts, leading renewals, upsells, and long-term program planning.
  • Manage financial health of accounts, including forecasting, budget oversight, and ensuring margin targets are met.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, elevating the team’s client leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence.

Requirements Your background and experience will lead to success with

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or integrated marketing, with a strong foundation in influencer, digital, and/or social-led programs, preferably within the CPG industry
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to Director+ clients—shaping ideas, influencing decisions, and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Strong ability to anticipate needs and proactively guide clients and teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering integrated solutions that connect strategy, creative, media, and creator execution
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with confidence in leading key meetings and delivering compelling narratives
  • A passion for the creator economy, cultural trends, and innovative brand storytelling that drives measurable results.

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$130,000 based on your overall knowledge, skills and abilities aligned to the role. This range is subject to change.
