Our client, a luxurious, basics-forward lifestyle brand within the apparel, home, and kids space is seeking a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead content strategy, community engagement, and social growth across all platforms.

This role blends creative execution with strategic thinking and analytics, partnering closely with internal teams and external agencies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social content strategy aligned with business and marketing goals
  • Own and manage the social content calendar across all platforms
  • Create, capture, edit, and publish daily content including copy, photos, and video
  • Monitor and engage with the social community, collaborating with Customer Service to ensure thoughtful, brand-right responses
  • Audit existing social channels and content to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
  • Manage social and creative tools such as Planoly, Later, and Canva
  • Oversee paid social campaigns and manage agency partners to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Grow audience, engagement, and brand awareness across platforms
  • Source and recommend influencer, affiliate, and brand partnership opportunities
  • Conduct regular market and trend research to inform content direction and performance benchmarks
  • Leverage user-generated content as part of broader marketing strategies
  • Brief creative and design partners on platform-specific content needs
  • Write compelling social copy for both organic and paid use
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay current on emerging social platforms, features, and content trends

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management and content creation

  • Hands-on experience with major platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, X/Twitter, and Threads

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content, including video and design

  • Balanced creative and analytical skill set

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Self-motivated and collaborative, comfortable working across multiple teams

  • Graphic design and Photoshop experience is a plus, but not required

  • This role is 3 days onsite/2 remote in the Calabasas area.
