About The HJGT The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing

junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a

competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event

a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is

eligible to participate on the HJGT. Currently the HJGT is the largest junior golf tour in the world

hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour.

Position Summary The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Email

Marketing Intern to join our digital marketing team. As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will

work closely with our marketing team to assist in the development and implementation of email

marketing campaigns to promote our junior golf tournaments and programs. You will gain

hands-on experience in digital marketing strategy, including email marketing, content creation,

and analytics. The ideal candidate is passionate about golf, has a strong interest in digital

marketing, and is eager to learn and contribute to our team. This internship offers a unique

opportunity to gain valuable experience in the exciting and fast-paced world of sports marketing.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism or Related Field
• Must be within Good Standing of your College/University
• Passion for Marketing/Digital Media/Sports
• Ability to Multitask in a Faced-Paced Environment
• Excellent Communication/Writing Skills
• Knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Attention to Detail
• Desire to Learn

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design preferably using Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge/Experience with content creation including but not limited to caption-writing, blogs,
• social media publication
• Willing to provide creative content ideas, guidance and strategies to Influencers
• Willingness to step outside of comfort zone

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for influencers, ensuring clear communication, timely responses, and
• consistent brand alignment.
• Design and provide influencers with content templates, topics, and creative guidance to help
• them stay on-brand while expressing their unique voice.
• Assist in developing campaign concepts that merge influencer storytelling with key marketing
• initiatives
• Coordinate and lead on-boarding virtual meetings – provide influencer kits, gear, and
• promotional materials, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking. 
• Track trends in youth sports and golf influencer marketing to inform new campaign ideas and
• community engagement strategies.
• Assist in writing email communication and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Maintain accurate influencer contact lists, contract status, and performance history in the CRM
• or influencer management platform.
