THE ROLE
Pirq is looking for a creative, growth-driven Social Media & Community Manager who lives and breathes social media. This role is focused on building brand awareness, engagement, and community through scroll-stopping content and impactful strategy that grows our social media accounts. You’ll lead the charge on our social growth, manage influencer relationships, and create a loyal following.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, trend-savvy, and passionate about health & wellness. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to turn insights, trends, and ideas into action quickly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Growth Strategy
- Own and execute a clear content and growth strategy for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) tailored to each platform’s strengths and audience.
- Constantly analyze performance and make quick pivots based on what’s driving reach, views, saves, and most importantly follows.
- Build a test-and-learn approach to content to accelerate platform growth.
Content Direction & Creation
- Develop original, trend-forward content ideas and campaigns that are educational + fun + value driven.
- Direct content production, working closely with the Social Media Coordinator, founder, and UGC creators.
- Be comfortable on camera and lead storytelling across formats (short-form video, stories, posts).
- Develop a deep understanding of brand differentiators, product knowledge, and competitive landscape to drive strategy and content that cuts through the noise.
Community Building
- Manage day-to-day community engagement and cultivate relationships: responding to DMs, comments, and tags with personality and warmth.
- Actively insert Pirq into relevant cultural conversations in health, wellness, CPG, and founder-led brand spaces.
Influencer & UGC Strategy
- Identify and manage influencer partnerships, collaborations, and content that increases reach and awareness.
- Lead outreach, gifting, and campaign execution with influencers and UGC creators.
Team Collaboration
- Lead and oversee Social Media Coordinator on content creation and execution
- Partner cross-functionally with brand, creative, and marketing teams on launches, events, and campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs (engagement, reach, saves, conversions, follower growth, etc.) to measure performance and optimize strategy.
- Deliver insights and reporting to the founder and team to guide marketing priorities.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in social media/organic social, with a proven track record of driving tangible audience growth.
- Deep understanding of effective content hooks, the principles of compelling storytelling, and the strategic adaptation of these elements across diverse social media platforms.
- Demonstrated success in scaling social media accounts, supported by verifiable metrics such as significant follower growth, increased engagement rates, and measurable contributions to conversions and revenue.
- Proven experience in leading teams, delivering constructive feedback, and cultivating a work environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and ongoing development.
- Extensive expertise in content production and scheduling tools and workflows, ensuring efficient, timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of platform evolutions, algorithmic changes, and cultural trends, with the ability to proactively adapt content strategies to ensure sustained relevance and effectiveness.
- Possess a keen editorial eye and discerning taste to ensure that all visual, auditory, and narrative elements consistently align with brand standards and effectively engage target audiences.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to work beyond standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet business demands.
COMPENSATION
- $90,000-$110,000 base salary + bonus.
- The actual base salary will vary based on factors such as market conditions, minimum wage requirements, and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process. The salary range provided is a guideline and may be adjusted accordingly.
