Role Overview The Manager, Events & Experiences is responsible for leading Blue Trust’s event and experiential marketing strategy—elevating the brand, deepening client relationships, and equipping advisors to host meaningful experiences. This role oversees enterprise-level events, national sponsorship activations, bespoke experiences for priority client segments, and select internal firm-wide events to ensure every Blue Trust experience delivers measurable business impact and reflects the firm’s mission of helping clients steward wealth with clarity and confidence. By combining strategic vision and hands-on execution, the manager ensures events are integrated into broader marketing campaigns and omni-channel storytelling efforts that advance firm growth and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Events and Sponsorships
- Leads planning and execution for enterprise events, including annual client gatherings, high-profile partnership activations, and bespoke experiences tailored for priority client segments.
- Partners with executive leadership to define event objectives, content strategy, and audience engagement goals.
- Manages event budgets, contracts, vendors, and logistics to ensure excellence and fiscal responsibility.
- Develops event evaluation processes to measure ROI, lead generation, and client/advisor satisfaction.
- Internal Experiences
- Designs and delivers internal firm-wide experiences (e.g., all-hands meetings) that strengthen engagement, alignment, and brand storytelling across the organization.
- Partners with senior leaders to ensure internal experiences reflect Blue Trust’s mission, values, and strategic priorities.
- Advisor and Branch-Level Experiences
- Creates scalable event frameworks, toolkits, and templates to support advisors in hosting local experiences (e.g., appreciation events, workshops, partner activations) and builds advisor capability to deliver local experiences that reinforce national brand campaigns.
- Trains and equips advisors and branch staff on best practices for event planning and execution.
- Provides on-demand consultation for high-impact local events that align with national campaigns and lead generation objectives.
- Experiential Marketing & Storytelling
- Designs experiences that bring Blue Trust’s brand and mission to life—integrating storytelling, hospitality, and faith-forward values.
- Collaborates with the Content & Digital teams to integrate events into omni-channel campaigns.
- Leverages events as platforms for thought leadership, influencer engagement, and client acquisition.
- Partnership & Vendor Management
- Oversees relationships with event vendors, production companies, venues, and sponsorship partners.
- Negotiates contracts and ensures all service delivery aligns with Blue Trust standards.
- Coordinates with the Marketing team on co-branded events and partnership activations.
- Approaches work, interactions and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values.
- Maintains the highest Compliance standards by adhering to the company's Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies and procedures, professional designation standards, and industry's regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company.
Measurement of Success
- Enterprise events deliver exceptional experiences, reinforce Blue Trust’s mission, and generate measurable business outcomes.
- Advisors are equipped with scalable, brand-aligned event frameworks that support growth and deepen client engagement.
- Events are consistently integrated into the firm’s broader marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies.
- Events are measured for attendance, engagement, lead capture, and advisor adoption, and insights are used to optimize future experiences.
- Vendor and partner relationships are streamlined, cost-effective, and consistently deliver value.
- Blue Trust becomes known for experiences that combine professional excellence with faith-forward hospitality and storytelling.
Requirements
- Demonstrated excellence in strategic event planning, project management, and experiential design
- Strong collaboration skills across marketing, operations, executive leadership, and advisory teams
- High attention to detail and proven ability to deliver polished, on-brand experiences
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and composure under pressure.
- Adept at balancing creative vision with operational execution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills
- Proficiency with project management and event planning tools; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus
- Desire to serve others with excellence

Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
- 8+ years of experience in event strategy, planning, and execution—preferably in financial services or mission-driven organizations.
- Experience coordinating omni-channel campaigns (email, social, digital) in conjunction with events preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale conferences and intimate client/advisor experiences.
- Experience developing and managing event budgets, contracts, and vendors required.
Certifications
- Certified Event Designer (CED) or Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is a plus.
Travel Requirements This role requires periodic travel to support enterprise events, advisor activations, and client experiences (estimated 15–25%). Travel or conference attendance should directly contribute to the initiatives listed within this scope; additional opportunities outside this focus may be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior approval from Marketing leadership.
