The Director of Distribution's (DOD) priorities include building influential relationships with Directors of Sales and Distribution (DSD) at Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC). Key responsibilities include communicating strategic priorities, leading and managing key RBNA initiatives, developing systems to increase KPI execution, and monitoring progress against business plans. A successful DOD will work together with the RBDC DSD to drive performance and ensure in-market execution exceeds objectives while building strong alignment between RBDC Leadership and the Senior Director of Distribution (SDOD).

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: ENSURES DISTRIBUTOR PARTNERS EXECUTE RBNA INITIATIVES (THIRD PARTY DISTRIBUTOR) Leads communication of RBNA annual sales strategies and quarterly/monthly initiatives to DP's leadership Communicates RBNA initiatives to DPM team Implements systems to track and benchmark DPs against key initiatives/goals Completes market visits to evaluate in-store conditions Establishes and manages a clear set of KPIs for DPMs and DPs

ENSURES DISTRIBUTOR PARTNERS EXECUTE RBNA INITIATIVES (RBDC) Aligns with RBDC Directors of Sales & Distribution (DSD) to align on annual sales strategies and quarterly/monthly initiatives Communicates RBNA initiatives to the RBDC DSD Participates in Monthly Planning & Review (MPR) meetings with DSD to align on performance gap closure, monthly priorities, and complete in market visits with DSDs and GSMs Ensures RBNA resources (POS, Trade Funds, Incentives) are allocated to RBDC

BUSINESS PLAN Establishes annual Region Business Plan to with DPs & DPMs to achieve RBNA & DP success inclusive of all KPIs and investments Ensures RBNA investment in trade funds and point of sale are deployed across the Region to achieve the annual business plan Works with DPMs to influence 3rd Party DP's areas of focus, organization requirements, numeric distribution, volume & share plan, investments, and execution KPIs Secures agreement on the annual Business Plan with 3rd Party DP's principals and owners Communicates Business Plan progress updates with DP ownership and principals and course corrects where necessary

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE Maintains a strong working knowledge of all Red Bull systems IRI, CPM, POS, Workbench, etc.) Maintains up to date knowledge of Key Account systems Proactively uses Business Intelligence to increase the performance of the DP network

DISTRIBUTOR STRUCTURE & NETWORK Develops short and long term plans to optimize DP Network within Region Develops best practices to share and implement within the DP network Works across other Business Units to benchmark performance and best practices

COACH & DEVELOP TEAM Manage, coach, and develop team of DPMs in Region Lead DPM training initiatives to develop both general and specific job skills Provide individual coaching and development of team members Lead cross functional integration within RBNA Works in a leadership role in the Region to ensure sales is integrated into marketing plans for the Region Coordinates Key Account and marketing programs' execution through a partnership with the Regional and National Key Accounts Team.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Outstanding sales experience and track record in the Consumer Goods industry (Beverage required), +10 years
  • Distributor and Supplier experience required
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of direct reports, 6+ years of management experience
  • Experience working with or managing a DSD network on a regional scale
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
  • Strong communicator, including presentation and training skills
  • Excellent negotiator and influencer
  • Comfortable with business analytics
  • Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies
  • Strong knowledge of consumer marketing principles
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, MBA preferred
  • Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $124,000 to $186,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
