About the job

Social Media Manager (Full-Time w/ Benefits)

Industry: Food & Beverage / Hospitality

Location: Hybrid (Denver, CO & Remote)

Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a Social Media Manager who can transform ideas into scroll-stopping stories and data-driven strategies that deliver real results. In this role, you’ll lead social media for our innovative wellness brands - Oakwell Beer Spa, where craft beer meets day spa luxury, Oakwell Cosmetics, our beer-infused bath and body line, and Oakwell Franchising, our recently launched franchise program.

A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDERS

We’re a fast-growing, multi-location day spa brand expanding nationwide through franchising. For the past five years, we’ve managed most of the marketing ourselves - but now it’s time to bring in a dedicated expert who can own our social media channels and elevate Oakwell into a world-class brand. We’re customer-obsessed, experience-driven, and relentlessly focused on standout storytelling backed by data.

As Social Media Manager, you’ll sharpen our social strategy and take our creative direction to the next level across all three brands. This role isn’t about simply posting - it’s about understanding the ROI, intention, and strategy behind every piece of content. We need someone who can tap into new audiences, drive user-generated content, and increase sales to create measurable, provable success. If you can blend creativity with data, strategy with execution, and storytelling with performance, you’ll thrive here.

YOUR ROLE

As Social Media Manager, you’ll own and elevate our social presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, driving engagement and measurable business impact.

Content Strategy

  • Develop and execute a multi-brand social strategy aligned with key business goals: spa appointments, product sales, and franchise lead generation.
  • Build and maintain an integrated content calendar across brands, channels, and campaigns.
  • Define and implement content and brand pillars that clarify what we share, why it matters, and how it supports each brand’s objectives.
  • Create storylines and recurring moments that foster loyalty and engagement.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and best practices; proactively advising leadership on opportunities to innovate and pivot; identify trends and strategic shifts before anyone asks.
  • Translate marketing goals into clear content briefs, hypotheses, and test plans.

Content Creation

  • Capture and edit clean, modern, and engaging content in spa environments and for product storytelling.
  • Produce short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Mini-Series), photography, graphics, and copy optimized for each platform.
  • Collaborate with creative partners, agencies, and internal teams to ensure brand consistency and elevate quality.
  • Build campaigns with clear intent, track attribution, and prove measurable ROI.

Community Management

  • Monitor, engage, and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions with timeliness, warmth, and brand voice consistency.
  • Build and nurture relationships with followers, customers, partners, and creators.
  • Activate user-generated content (UGC), referrals, and loyalty moments; escalate feedback and service issues appropriately.

Brand Ambassador & Influencer Relations

  • Identify, vet, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors.
  • Coordinate deliverables, briefs, usage rights, and performance tracking; integrate UGC into the content strategy.
  • Drive co-marketing partnerships that expand reach and reinforce brand positioning.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own channel dashboards and report weekly/monthly on KPIs, such as engagement rate, follower growth, video views, and CTR.
  • Implement UTM tracking, audience segmentation, and content experiments; turn insights into action.
  • Recommend resource allocation across platforms, formats, campaigns, and brands based on performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years managing social media for a brand or agency; multi-location or multi-brand experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects across brands with confidence and calm.
  • Strong prioritization skills and exceptional attention to detail—nothing slips.
  • Highly organized with systems for assets, version control, and compliance.
  • Comfortable with analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting; data-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated success growing social channels and converting engagement into business results.
  • Skilled in short-form video editing, on-site content capture, photography basics, and copywriting.
  • Proficient in tools like Meta Business Suite, Instagram/TikTok/YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Pages, Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, GA4, UTM tracking, and social schedulers (Later, Sprout, Hootsuite).
  • Experience with influencer management, UGC programs, and paid social fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills; loves learning and staying ahead of trends.
