Sun Home Saunas is the fastest-growing sauna and cold-plunge company in the United States and the most followed sauna brand on Instagram in the world. Our products are trusted and used by world-class influencers, elite athletes, and global celebrities including Sabrina Carpenter, Mike Tyson, Shaun White, Melissa Wood, Lauryn Bosstick, and many more.

We are now focused on building our organic TikTok presence to match the authority we’ve built on Instagram, and we are looking for a highly creative, wellness-obsessed Social Media Specialist to lead this expansion from the ground up.

This is not a standard social media role – it’s a content-forward, creator-led position where you’ll be shaping the voice, aesthetic, and direction of one of the most exciting wellness brands in America.

You’ll have direct access to our premium infrared saunas, cold plunges, and wellness technologies for filming. The schedule is flexible and remote-friendly, but because content capture happens in person, the role must be San Diego based.

What You’ll Do

• Build Sun Home Saunas’ TikTok presence from zero to industry-leading, driving rapid follower growth, brand loyalty, and organic engagement.
• Produce 7+ UGC-style TikTok videos weekly, using a blend of product education, lifestyle storytelling, wellness culture, and trend-driven creativity.
• Ideate, script, film, and edit short-form video content with Sun Home products in authentic, high-performing formats.
• Monitor wellness and TikTok trends daily to identify high-potential sounds, hooks, formats, and ideas.
• Establish a consistent posting cadence and analyze performance to refine direction.
• Collaborate directly with the founders on creative and strategic direction.
• Support additional organic social deliverables (Instagram Reels, Stories, research, ideation, light community engagement).
• Represent Sun Home as a genuine wellness enthusiast who understands the lifestyle.

Who You Are

• A TikTok native with strong intuition for storytelling, virality, on-platform culture, and the nuances of UGC.
• Experienced in UGC creation, with a portfolio showing strong editing, creative framing, and on-camera or directing skills.
• Deeply passionate about wellness, recovery, longevity, and performance.
• Energetic, self-directed, and able to work autonomously in a fast-moving startup.
• Comfortable developing content at scale (7+ videos per week).
• Based in San Diego, with the ability to capture product content as needed.
• Reliable, organized, and consistent in meeting deliverables and posting schedules.

• Hours: 10-25 hours/week, with potential to grow
• Compensation: Competitive hourly or weekly retainer
